I have actually thought about seeing this film (there is a theater in my area playing it)

I honestly don't know. I haven't even heard of this film until today. Tells you the kind of advertising they put behind it. I think I qualify as a person who watches a lot of TV, and I can say I've seen commercials for it about twice max, both times the commercials ran about 3 seconds tops. I'm not exaggerating. Funny, I've seen at least 4 or 5 spots for it.

Yeah, there's probably a good reason this movie grossed so low...namely no one even knew of its existence (I know I didn't).

This really looks like one of those unknown films that you randomly see in a RedBox. I'm surprised it even got a theater release.

Holy crap! it's playing here! The entire state of Kentucky didn't even get "Glitter" when it came out to my knowledge and I did research that

Know what the sad part is? I've seen more commercials for this movie than I have for the Star Wars Blu-ray set.

The first I heard of this was when I saw it on the list of what was showing at my theater.

I didn't see a single commercial for this. I only knew of it because of Box Office Guru predicting it's gross (he thought $1 million at best, which he was being generous). The fact it was in that many screens surprises the hell out me.
I will say, as a fan of B-movies, I was planning on seeing it, after I noticed a screening at a theater near me. Since it was Regal, I decided I'd wait for the DVD (which I wouldn't be surprised to see released before Halloween next month).

Maybe it's a well crafted plan to create buzz.
Next weeks gross will be 25 million.

Know what the sad part is? I've seen more commercials for this movie than I have for the Star Wars Blu-ray set. In the interest of fairness, the Star Wars Blu-ray set doesn't need promotion to sell.

I've heard reports that theaters in South Carolina were refusing to sell tickets and running it to empty houses. If it's a coordinated effort, that explains the gross.

Saw it and I'll be honest...............it isn't that bad of a movie. It really is a B monster movie. The one problem I will say is while there is gore.............it cuts some scenes that you would like to see (like the final battle) because they would involve more gore than they had.

Yeah, Foywonder's review of it basically amounted to the main flaw being that it's oddly sheepish with its gore.
