I don't mean to stir or anything. I know Fitchy is brilliant at what he does. And apart from BJ Penn (draw) and GSP (Whooping) he has beaten everyone and fair enough. He does what he does. But why exactly do you like him? And I'm not taking the mick or anything, I've just never met anyone who likes him....even at a live event. lol I second this question. Watching the man fight is the most potent sleep aid known to man. I guess I'm a little Rogan-ish in that I can enjoy a good ground battle but go a step further in that a ground domination is a surprising and interesting thing to me. Seeing Fitch essentially take a person's strengths away with his style is entertaining to me. It shows quite a talent. And I was picking with the "Fitch Hate" thing because, trust me, I can understand why someone would hate his style. It's not very friendly to the sport at all. I'm an odd bird, I guess. Also, I enjoy his Twitter-ing.

^Ah ok, that makes sense. I also love Brock in the same way. All the elitist MMA/Pride fans HATE hime whilst he has brought more money and interest towards the sport than nobody before him.
Also, he F-5ed a shark! And Zack Gowen...in to a ring post. ;D

do UFC hardcore fans hate Brock somewhat because he is the biggest name AND he came from 'fake' wrestling? I've always wondered this. I imagine a fair chunk buy into his gimmick that I alluded to in my article that he's a massive prick who doesn't respect anybody but I doubt most of these UFC/Pride fans on Sherdog do... maybe I'm giving them too much credit.

Double Post but I know Overeem was born in England and I have an Uncle in Holland and cousins. So technically he WAS born in England and he would be the most famous (born in England) fighter EVER if he beat Brock...torn. I love England and Holland is nice too.

I honestly think most WC/F.A.N posters are happy for him and wish him well in his career, to be honest. I never saw anyone on this board or even at UFC 138 Live when I talked to people about Brock, they said they didn't even know he was a WWE guy. At least in England, there is no prejudice.

I guess may be it's because my Uncle lives in Holland and was brought up in England. My mother's brother. May be it's a European thing. I don't know. You are right though, he is Dutch because of his choice. I don't want to get UBERkneed anytime soon.

No idea my friend I'm from Coventry. Well I'm from Wiltshire, I have family near Feyenoord FC in Holland. Trying to emotionally blackmail them to get tickets to Ajax/Manchester Utd at the moment. It's going to sell out in two minutes anyway, le sigh.

I'm sorry (watching the countdown show) but Pat 'HD' Barry has no business giving anyone advice about MMA, after being beaten by Stefan Struve, via flying triangle.

Well, apparently I don't get to watch the main card tonight because UFC can't keep their X-Box app in working order.
