I want to know what this means for us in the UK, where we most likely won't get the WWE Network due to the deal in place with Sky Sports. If this means all the PPVs bar the big four are shown on Sky Sports I'd be all for that. It means absolutely nothing to us. Sky has a contract with WWE and they decided how many PPV's we get for free and how many we have on Box Office. It'll stay like that for a few years. I seem to remember reading this is the best free/pay ratio we've had. I am intrigued to see if we get any of the WWE Network programming though. I do hope so. I thought WWE dictated that Sky Sports had to chave a certain number of PPVs actually be PPV. And it's not. Because there was a time when they were ALL on Sky Sports with the possible exception of Wrestlemania. But I think even that was on there.

All the non-Big 4 PPVs are being moved to the WWE Network. I've been saying this for years. Having twelve plus PPVs in the current pro wrestling & general economic environment makes little sense.

What rights are they going to brag over? Winning brand gets to be the first people served in catering.

If they insist on having 12 PPVs a year, they need to go back to this lineup:
January: Royal Rumble February: No Way Out March: WrestleMania April: Backlash May: Judgement Day June: King of the Ring July: Fully Loaded August: SummerSlam September: Unforgiven October: No Mercy November: Survivor Series December: Armageddon
What was wrong with that lineup? Screw these gimmick PPVs.

I like that lineup except for 2: Road Wild themed show was a disaster for WCW. Between the idiotic audience and the constant reving of the bikes. Starrcade isn't a good idea because they have Wrestlemania already and there is only enough room for 1 super ppv.

Beaten to it (multiple times), but say it with me now:
Should have been the return of King of the Ring.

Just an outdoor venue with a motoring theme. Starrcade doesn't need to be on the scale of Wrestlemania, but just a solid "season ending" PPV to finish the year with a bang.
