This has been bugging me for a while......

What are these things on his face? (obviously I know what they are before someone tries to be "smart" but do they have a name or style besides the obvious.)



I'm guessing they were big in the 80's since i've seen AA wearing them in promos and such on various dvds. I've also seen Hulk Hogan wearing them a time or two.

I've always thought they looked uber goofy

Do these things have a name?? Any other pictures with people wearing them??

I like to imagine that he wears a Member's Only jacket as he leaves the photo shoot.

As for the glasses, they're somewhat reminiscent of the shades that Elvis used to rock in the 70s.

That was the first thing that popped into my head. They were pretty big, and not cheap. The tint is strongest at the top, oddly enough nearest to the sun, and gradually fades.

The other "stylin' & profilin' " Horsemen (Blanchard & Flair) wore them too.

I believe they're Carreras. They still make that style today.
