Okay, we could call them that but we don't. A few reasons being.... A) We've always called them bum bags. That's what they are over here. It'd be like me saying "Hey, why do Americans call it a fanny pack? You should call them bum bags like us." B) Bum bags are a common thing and that's what they're commonly called. Fanny is considered somewhat of a swear word over here, so for someone to refer to them they'd have to swear (if they were called fanny packs). This doesn't work, especially if you were talking about them on TV or to a child. I'd call them "Vagina Packs". Just sayin'.

It sounds like a word a little kid might use when referring to his butt.
