I don't know if it's the haters eating away at you that has caused you to get like this, but if we can't even say that we like other TV shows more than MLP without causing you to go into a depression, I think you might need more help than we can provide here.

I'm not one to bust out a meme inappropriately, but this is a case of "Haters Gonna Hate" more than anything else. Some people would rather simply HATE anything that doesn't IMMEDIATELY appeal to them and label anyone that does like it a "Uncool" or "lame" or any number of horrid descriptors.

Let them......because they'll miss out on the comraderie of the Herd, the Unity that comes from these threads, the "Love and Tolerance" that's not just a motto or slogan, but exists within the hearts and souls of all of us here.

We are who we are, we like what we like.....We don't need to justify it, explain it or defend it. If you want to hate someone over a damn TV show and whether someone enjoys it.......How f***ing petty can you get?

I didn't mean to take this out on Lizuka either, it's just... I've been called a lot of things, but bastard is a word I can't stand. Hell, I hate even typing it out. So, having the word be generalized to this fanbase made me feel like I'm doing something wrong, and I'm causing damage by proclaiming it to be the best.

Then I saw that post, where even known bronies aren't behind this as much as I am, and it really started making me believe it when I know I shouldn't.

I love this show, I love you guys, and I don't want to lose that in the long run. But I don't want to be considered a retard, or a pedophile, a meme follower, or especially a bastard for liking this.

Ok i'm gonna say my piece than im retiring from the thread for the night.

I come to these threads because iam a fan of the show, and i come on here to discuss the show with fellow fans aswell as share episode ideas and pictures and whatnot.

There's no doubt the show has grown a huge fanbase, unfortunatly where there are lovers there will also be haters, if you like the show than fairplay to you and theres no reason why anyone should tell you otherwise. I saw some of the comments on another site, quite frankly just comes across as some keyboard warriors, If they can't accept we like the show that's their problem not ours.

It's the usual names that come to these threads and to say the least you guys have become my favourite posters on this forum , and i certinaly don't want to see these threads fall apart because some are letting the opinions of others get to them.

I just hope we can get this all sorted and put this behind us, this post is not attacking anyone, I generally look forward to coming to these threads and i'd be sad if they stopped.

I'l get to the "Retard" comment lastly as I do not know you personally.....but as far as Pedarasty....It's a simple 1 question test....

Oh, don't get me wrong. They're damn close, I just find Phineas & Ferb to be pure gold. Though if it helps any, FiM's music is more consistent in quality - probably in part due to it not being as frequent, Phineas & Ferb has had three seasons to fine tune things as opposed to one and I would say FiM's first season is better than that of P&F, and the animation is better.

FSin you are one of my favorite posters not only in these threads but on the entire board and I will be genuinely saddened if you leave them.

As others have said not everyone's going to like everything. Furthermore, there are going to be some people that hate things either because they generally dislike it or just like pushing peoples buttons, and if someone is referring to you or the whole group of people as bastards for stating they enjoy something as innocuous as a television show? Well it's pretty obvious who the true bastards are in that situation.

Which brings me to a piece of advice my dad always told me and seems quite fitting now, "Don't let the bastards get you down."

But if you need to take a break, that's your decision to make, and I say godspeed.

Also, if it helps any, Friendship is Magic does have a way, way more awesome fanbase. Like one of the best I've ever seen, while Phineas & Ferb mostly has creepy shippers.
