Holy s***...Street Fighter III is damn near impossible to play with a Playstation controller. Imagine how hard the 360 version will be, you know considering how it has an utter shit d-pad..... Looks like you need a fight stick to properly play SFIII..... I was kind of afraid of that(lacks a fight stick).

My God...
Parrying is a freakin' nightmare! I had no idea how difficult it was until I actually tried to do it.

My God... Parrying is a freakin' nightmare! I had no idea how difficult it was until I actually tried to do it. I don't know if it applies to online (doubt it) and it doesn't apply to the trials, but if you check the dip switches there is an option for the parry timing. I turned it up and found a good spot where I thought it wasn't too easy or too hard. The most difficult part for me is not spamming the hell out of moving forward and I end up dashing right into what I tried to parry. I think the game runs fine on the PS3 controller personally. My fingers get a little tied playing as Hugo though, especially if I'm using the first Super Art. I did notice a little glitch where it saved all of my options but reset the difficulty from when I changed it. I had to go back and fix that and the game became a little easier.

Loving the Resistance 3 beta. Took me a while to get use to playing it, though. It is the first time I've touched a Resistance game since 2007. I didn't play Resistance 2.....

{Spoiler}I WON EVEN!
Opponent went airborn too much. Against any decent Hugo player using the second Super Art (which is an anti-air super), that's asking for trouble. He also needed to block a bit more, I was hitting that little air roundhouse/low roundhouse combo almost at will.
He was using his super at the right times though. Another story I found on Gamespot confirms it's the international soundtrack only. Even though I have this on the Sonic Gems Collection, I'll still get this. Achievements, widescreen support, and the REAL soundtrack (the u.s. soundtrack is okay, but the amount of awesome 90s cheese in the international one is just plain amazing), oh I am all over this. I even have a buyer at work interested in my copy of Gems collection. Dunno why they'd have that spin dash feature thing though...Sonic CD's is so much better (for anyone who doesn't know, Sonic CD lets you do a spin dish or even a quickstart run by holding down or up and pressing your jump button just once, whereas Sonic 2 style makes you charge it up).

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, Sony has announced Twisted Metal's 2012 release date. Let me just say, it is going to be a very bloody Valentine's Day. That's right, Twisted Metal drops 2/14/2012.

kotaku.com/5834542/an-hour-with-counter+strike-goCounter-Strike: Global Offensive will once again have the cross-platform play that Valve introduced in Portal 2. PS3 players will be able to play people on Macs and PCs. Also, PS3 players have three control options, they can use the DualShock3/SIXAXIS, they can use the Move, and they can use mouse and keyboard. In other words, if you want to play CS:GO on a console, the PS3 version is the one you should play. You know what would make the PS3 version even sweeter? If they somehow set it up to where if you buy the PS3 version of CS:GO, you also get a free copy of the game for PC/Mac like they did with Portal 2. They don't need to do that, as just the cross-platform play and Move and mouse & keyboard control was more than enough. Hell the cross-platform play alone would've been enough.

For those not in the know, Kevin Butler left PlayStation and joined a carpet company. I sure didn't know about this.
Well...HE'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAACCKKKKKKKKKKK!
In other words, Sony is starting up their new campaign for the fall/winter season, entitled "Long Live Play."

To be honest, I was afraid they would've killed him off as a result of the PSN outage, like how they put their marketing slogan of "It only does everything" out to pasture. But still, pretty good commercial, and I love how they still worked in that picture of Jack Tretton into it.

They couldn't have timed the MK Kollection worse for me. I have wanted UMK3 for SOOOOOO long, but with 3rd Strike last week (which I am still playing the hell out of, any of you want some come get it) and Madden this week, my gaming schedule is on lockdown for the time being.

Seems like there are a lot of issues with MK Kollection Such as? If it's just online, then it ranks in the "whatever" category for me. Big deal. Me and the bro will play the crap out of UMK3 alone by ourselves. If there's legit issues with the games though...
