That was a hell of a game. 50-48 wouldn't make me happy if I was the defensive coach of either team though.

This would have been GOTY last year. Best college football game I've seen in years.

How long before we hear the first cries of TCU being overrated? Already started. Seems to me I recall the same being said of VT last year...before they rattled off nine straight I think that the difference is that VT didn't lose essentially half the starters of an undefeated Rose Bowl champion team.

I can't imagine what it'll be like when OK State heads to Waco.
The Baylor scoreboard could be lit up that night.

It's kinda funny how some of my friends rag on me because Arena Football is so high scoring. Then we see something like THIS.

Also after watching this game, can we stop the talk of TCU squashing the Big East in football in the future? Hell no, the Big East sucks overall. Except for that brief stretch in the mid-200s when Steve Slaton and Ray Rice and Michael Bush and Brian Brohm lit up scoreboards.

Sucks, I was rooting for TCU. They'll be a beast once they get some experience under them though.

Pachall did show some flashes of brilliance, and you gotta commend him for playing almost half the game with leg cramps. He'll probably be someone to watch once he gets another year or two of experience under his belt.

OK State can match anybody in the passing game with Weeden and Blackmon, but what's gonna happen with the running game (no Kendall Hunter this year)?

The one thing you can always count on with TCU is defense, and they went out there and got humbled in the old country way.
Hell that whole game was like someone turned the defensive sliders all the way down.

Not really college football related, but Gehrig Dieter from my former high school, Washington High in South Bend, just set the national record for receiving yards in a game with 447 yards against Elkhart Central last night. He had broke the Indiana state record in the first game of the year. www.maxpreps.com/news/5TAGDNXZEeC-rAAmVebEWg/gehrig-dieter-goes-for-447-yards,-sets-national-high-school-receiving-record.htm
