So now that Delirious remembers everything now, what does he do? Go after what's left of the BDK and align with the Spectral Envoy? Align with Hallowicked and Frightmare and go after Ultramantis? Align with what's left of the BDK and go after the Spectral Envoy? Go after everyone and become his own man? Forgive everyone and have a duet with Gavin? Enjoy his newfound intelligence and join a book club? Sign with TNA and become Eric Young's best friend? What will he do? Crow Delirious! He'll be in the uhh...well they don't have rafters so I guess the announce position watching and waiting. more likely he'll be stalking them from his secret lair under the ring

2/13/2012: Injuries are not fun at all. Trust me on that one. Do you know what it's like to not be able to feel your legs? I do. Do you know what it's like to ride in the back of an ambulance in the worst physical pain possible? I do. Do you know what it's like to be wheeled around an airport because you just can't walk without help? Whelp...I do. At this point...everyone knows I'm hurt. It's no secret. Crap, every major wrestling site under the sun has covered every inch of it. You know the story...but here's something you don't know. Here's something NO news site has reported. Here's something not on Twitter, or Facebook, or whatever Social Networking outlet you prefer. This is an actual conversation with a specialist. JG: So give it to me straight Doc.. what's the problem. DR: Well Johnny...it's bad. JG: Is it spinal? (Mike Tyson Reference. No? Whatever.) DR: No. Muscular. Almost every single muscle in your lower back is completely shredded. JG: But how? Why? DR: Well...did you take a weird fall? JG: I don't think so. DR: Did you rip them dead-lifting 855 pounds, like you normally do on your light days? JG: Nah...John Cena taught me perfect form. DR: Hmmm...interesting. Well, have you carried any notable professional wrestling federations on your back for the past year? JG: Come to think of it...YES I HAVE! That's right, CHIKARA! It's your fault that I'm hurt! Where's my "Thank You?" For the past year I've carried the weight of your success on my back. Look it up. How many BIG matches have I had? Countless main events, countless show-stealing matches, countless high pressure situations. How many MOTN's, MOTY's, MOTYC's have I had? Quick answer...probably like 200. When it comes down to it, Johnny Gargano puts butts in seats, Johnny Gargano sells DVD's...Smart Mark Video's sales have plummeted in the mere month I've been gone. PRO-WRESTLING NEEDS JOHNNY GARGANO and CHIKARA MOST DEFINITELY NEEDS JOHNNY GARGANO. I have the star power that CHIKARA lacks. Sexy Chucky T and I are the current and reigning Campeones de Parejas for a reason. You know that "it factor" you hear Wink always talking about? We've got it. We're stars. We're a couple of really attractive dudes, and quite frankly inbetween those ropes...F.I.S.T. is just that good. This back injury would sideline any normal man for months, maybe years...but I am no normal man. I'm the Bee's Knees, The Cat's Pajamas and The Whole Shebang. Sad but true, Johnny Gargano at a mere 36% is better than ANYONE in CHIKARA at 100%. Especially anyone named UltraMantis Black and/or Hallowicked. I'm well aware you have a title shot on February 25th in Reading boys. Don't worry...I know ALL ABOUT IT. I think after February 25th, you guys and I are going to have a lot in common. You're going to know EXACTLY what that pain I talked about earlier feels like. Ambulance rides aren't cheap. Especially for two people. I know you're scared and you miss me, CHIKARA fans...but don't panic...the organization you love will be alright. You'll be seeing me very soon. Babies...Daddy's coming home. JG

Yeah, both can always use more bland jobbers.

Apparently, being a tag champ in a tag-heavy promotion = jobber.

yeah, jobber is a little much. let's just say that if Johnny Gargano wasn't around it wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'd still have the original Johnny Gargano... {Spoiler}

All those things being what makes Chuck Taylor go from an average talent to a good talent. Which is why I called Gargano what I called him. Not because of his push in CHIKARA. Because he is average, at the best of times, and yet he's heralded as the second coming on the indie scene. Only way I can see that is if they mean the second coming of Chuck Taylor...except with Roderick Strong's personality. With a nice coating of hipster reference paint to try to win people over.

Well done, Johnny Gargano. You just reminded me why I don't and never liked you. Well done. And lacking all of the charisma, general charm and in-ring personality of the original version too. There are times where I feel like I'm all alone on some things. Thank you, mjolnir. Now I know I'm not alone.

i'd be more open to Gargano if Gabe didn't shove him down our throats. i mean when did he forget how to slowly build up a wrestler? Nigel McGuinness started out in ROH in 2003 as a local guy they'd book when they were in Ohio, got a permanent low end spot on the roster around the summer of 2004, became a solid midcard wrestler in 2005 with his feud with Cabana, became an upper midcard/low end main eventer in 2006 with his feud with Danielson, and became one of their biggest stars ever in 2007.
the real reason Gargano is where he's at in DGUSA and EVOLVE is because Jon Moxley signed with the WWE, and the real reason Moxley was at the level he was there was because Gabe had a falling out with Davey Richards. and $20 and a half eaten Charms Blow Pop (strawberry flavor) says if it wasn't for the working arrangement between CHIKARA and DGUSA, and the need to get Gargano over, he would not be in FIST and he would not be one half of the Campeonatos de Parejas. its the same as when they made Moxley the FIP champ in his debut for Full Impact Pro

I like Gargano.
(ducks flying debris)
Hold on, hold on! Lemmee explain!
I don't see Gargano as "bland", far from it. He's a very bizarre little man who's like a 80's teen movie villain if he was run through the NickToons machine. I dig his matches and he does some cool moves that suit him very well (Although the Hurtzdonut is a weak finish). He might be over pushed but he's hardly a bad wrestler. From my end, he's ok.
I'm defending Gargano in this thread and burying Jessie McKay in another. Do I have to turn in my smark card?

I wouldn't know. EVOLVE bores me and I don't like Dragon gate or it's US Branch at all. So, I guess these two places are where it takes place.

That is what I am talking about, ROH waits far too long to pull the trigger on guys and Gabe just jumps the gun instead of giving anyone build up or seeing if they are ready.

For me, it's because Johnny Gargano has always been what I said he was in my post for me. The guy's, at best, a middle of the road mid-carder. Yet he's been shoved down the collective throats of any indie fan that tries to look at most of the bigger promotions out there. Pretty much the entire roster, at this point, I'd take over Gargano in CHIKARA. With the only maybe being Jigsaw, who is a similar case in my book.
Albeit some people clearly buy into the hype, seeing as I've seen more than one person call him the next Alex Shelley outside of the CHIKARA community. Which is a depressing statement to think about, for me anyways, considering the sheer difference in talent the two have.

I don't really hate Gargano, honestly. I occasionally want to slap him whenever he appears on my screen, but he's too much of a bland non-factor in the ring for me to get all up in arms about him.
