Delirious, as much as it pains me to say, has clearly been on his way out of wrestling as a whole for a while now. Dude's been taking less and less bookings, and as big of a fan of him as I am, I can't say I blame him. He's running the ROH school, promoting PWRespect when he can, booking ROH and I know for a while he was making steady stops at the WrestleFactory to help. . Correct me if I'm wrong, but they haven't run in over a year? Yeah, their last hyped show was one year ago last week. He still has a lot of responsibility but, yeah, PWR seems dead.

ROH has pretty much no fresh students at the moment. Think Veda Scott was the last one.

Crazy theory. What if Delirious made a wish with the Eye of Tyr right before he destroyed it? And now...he's like...all knowing and all seeing?

Guessing this weekend's cards are complete, so I should have a couple hype articles up this week. Hopefully by Wednesday. But of course, you guys CARE about that.

Crazy theory. What if Delirious made a wish with the Eye of Tyr right before he destroyed it? And now...he's like...all knowing and all seeing? Wasn't the Tyr only for mind control though? I think it's the idea that Delirious knows everything, but because of that he went crazy and turned into the Delirious we knew. Now he has had his mind straightened the knowledge is accessible

UltraMantis Black @ultramantis: @rohdelirious Yes, you remember everything Ares did to you. But now you are free & can come home, my friend.

I love Mantis but man, does that come across as "Yes, yes, you remember everything he did, pay no mind to what I did."

I don't even want to say where my mind went in regards to what Mantis did.

You honestly think now that he won, he's going to be a Technico much longer, unless it suits his greater intrests? Oh no, my friend, he is the EVIL Insect Overlord for a reason.

Oh no, I totally get that.
Funny thing is, I think this is going to result in Delirious going rudo. Possibly Hallowicked and Frightmare too. Seeing as Mantis has "atoned" and Delirious is likely to turn on him for what he did to him and it really being his fault for the past few years of Delirious' life.
Real question is if Hallowicked's going to stick by the man that's the reason he sided with Mantis in the first place or if old bonds have been renewed truly. I wouldn't put it passed Delirious to be pissed at 'Wicked for helping Mantis.

Yeah, but I have been saying that a lot before. Still, it's nice to see someone else think so too.

From Vin's Facebook: This match on Sunday has got me thinking a lot about what I've done, what I should have done, and what I can still do. When I first started wrestling, or wanting to get involved in it, I tried everything I could to get in the door. When I was 16, I went to the first Chikara show at 1313 Linden Street in Allentown. From that day, I knew where I wanted to be. I consider myself one of the very first Chikara fans. I remember a car ride with a guy by the name of "Kassius".. he asked me what I hoped to accomplish in wrestling. I told him I had already accomplished it, I wrestle for Chikara. To have been a part of Chikara, to have been Chikara's Young Lion's Cup Champion, and to now have the opportunity to become the Chikara's Grand Champion isn't something I'm taking for granted. This Sunday will be something you'd never expect. I'm laying it all out there because believe it or not, I love the Chikara brand. You can miss it if you want, but when you read about it, don't say I didn't tell you so.

Poor Mr. Donst...
Also, notice the goof Death Rey makes. Proves these were taped well ahead of time.

was that before or after "Kassius" exposed him as a fake hoochador?

Random interlude: I was reading an interview on Dirty Dirty Sheets with a wrestler we all know and he was asked where he would like to go. This was his response:
"To name certain places: PWG is one of my favorite companies to watch, and I would love to go there and ply my trade. CHIKARA is somewhere I would like to go back to; I feel we have unfinished business there. DGUSA seems to focus on tag team wrestling so I would like to go there as well. Anywhere that has a good tag team division is somewhere I would like to be."
Who said it? None other than Submission Squad leader Pierre "Stale Fart" Abernathy. I will never get tired of watching this bozo make a jackass out of himself.

at first i felt bad about Tim Donst...then i remembered all the horrible thinks he's done in the past from being a communist to trying to break up The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple by damn near brainwashing Hydra (whose less than average intelligence did not help in that situation) into turning again his best friend and mentor, the great and powerful Lord UltraMantis Black. as far as i'm concerned that snapmare on Donst was justified. a salute for Mr. Wicked sidenote: {Spoiler}i was looking for the Tim Donst/Captain America salute to post, when i came across this... ...which i completely forgot about making, it just came up in google. i clicked on it, which led me to the site it was one. those were the days, my friend. i want to go back into the archives and find the actual thread and re-read it

The Submission Squad have got so much better in ACW over the past year or so - if it means getting Athena into Chikara, even better.
