The weird thing to me about Phantasio is that I only remember specifically watching one match on Wrestling Challenge from that time period, and it was that one, which was his only WWF match. At the time I was 10 or 11 and thought Phantasio was a big star in the WWF I didn't have cable growing up, so I never saw Raw and only knew of WWF guys from Challenge. Although I did wonder why I never read about him in WWF Magazine.
Of course I knew him as Spellbinder in Memphis in the USWA, and thought he was just as big a star in the WWF.

Mr. Perfect's theme had a name other than "Mr. Perfect's theme"? I did not know that. I think McGillicutty is wrong on the title. Mr. Perfect's theme was called "Perfect Twist" if I recall. Mr. Perfect did in fact use the music from the film Exodus briefly, before Jim Johnston wrote the theme he would use for the rest of his WWE career. However, Johnston's theme was probably inspired by the theme of the film Exodus. edit: Speaking of 'Perfect Twist'...that would be a good name for the running neckbreaker that McGillicutty uses if he ever is repackaged as Joe or Michael Hennig. |
