The video at the end of the Video Wire showing some of ROH's great moments makes it a bit depressing that this iPPV probably won't live up to them. The beginning of that Video Wire got me hella excited for the show, however. I'm pumped to see Jacobs vs. Steen!

Why don't they work with Colt Cabana anymore?

Another zero buys tag match!!! AMAZING RED OMGZ~! We get it, Gabe. I agree with him though. I mean a heavly pushed duo vs. a guy that's been a jobber and a guy that's never around isn't exactly what I'd think of being a match worth of iPPV, let alone their 10th Anniversary iPPV in NYC. Why don't they work with Colt Cabana anymore? He doesn't want to sign a contract.

Perkins always gives a good performance, and Red may have been a jobber in TNA but he was one of the first breakout stars of ROH and 1/2 of the second tag champs so they'll let him have a good showing if only for nostalgia purposes

TJ Perkins is all kinds of awesome, and I will not hear a bad word about him!
That said, I saw Strong vs. Red in PWG, adding two guys to that mix doesn't have me too excited. Here's hoping I'm wrong.

It's the same with every match announced so far outside of (surprise the only one with a hint of a good story and far from played out) Steen v. Jacobs. I am just saying for what is one of their biggest shows of the year, it's being treated more like a throw away house show.

I don't know why the match is like this since I haven't been following ROH for a while but what is their reason to not put Davey Richards to defend the world title and stick him in a tag team match instead?

Amazing to think that on the day of the anniversary they will have lasted a year longer than the original ECW did.

Man, how far ROH has fallen. I used to go to every Anniversary show that ROH held in New York or New Jersey, but I have absolutely zero interest in any of this. Amazing Red??? Were Xavier and Jack Evans booked?

TJ Perkins is all kinds of awesome, and I will not hear a bad word about him! In ring, certainly. Outside the ring, I have plenty of bad words to say about him. One of the biggest pricks in the indies.

In ring, certainly. Outside the ring, I have plenty of bad words to say about him. One of the biggest pricks in the indies. How so? He's talked crap about female indy workers, claiming none of them can work (only WWE women can), and when they get injured, they stay injured "until the next women's show" - the stuff he's said about Hero/Ohno is well documented. Other stuff too.

Disco Machine didn't have nice things to say about him either. Honestly, Strong/Elgin vs. Perkins/Red is the only match I'm actually interested in. I'd be interested in Steen/Jacobs, except I get the feeling that will end up being more angle than match.
