Has Kane ever had a meaningful Mania match that didn't involve Taker? I mean at least Orton has had the Handicapped Match at 20 and 2 WWE/WHC title matches (I think). He had the match vs. Taker at WM 21 & 3 title matches(1 WHC & 2 WWE) - 22(WHC against Angle & Rey), 24(WWE Title against Cena & HHH - his only win) & 25(WWE Title against HHH).

So this pretty much means no Ryder-Kane at mania which sucks.
But it also pretty much means no Sheamus-Bryan-Orton which is good

Maybe slamming Khali at 23? He was in two MITB as well. Not the best (he loses mostly) but theres those at least. Don't really see the first two as meaningful. I mean the Angle thing was just thrown together and the Khali thing was to promote See No Evil. Both are equal to Edge/Booker for a Shampoo Commercial, IMO. Just there to get them on the card. I'll give ya MITB though those seem to be mostly filler/get on the card except for the winner.

Yea, I was just trying to think of matches he had not against Taker. I dont remember much at all about the first two except for the Khali slam.

WTF? Orton vs Kane? Dammit!
Ryder vs Kane would make much more sense.

The problem with Ryder-Kane is how could that believably be a non-squash match? I'd rather see Ryder regain the US Title from Swagger.
Orton-Kane is interesting. Two usually pretty indestructible-type wrestlers going at it. Maybe they can add some kind of twist to it to make it more interesting.

Also, training montages. And I must ask, which one is better: -No Kane vs Ryder but No Orton in the WHC match -Kane vs Ryder but Sheamus vs Orton vs Bryan

I'm thinking that we might end up with Ryder/Kelly v Miz/Eve now.

I'm thinking that we might end up with Ryder/Kelly v Miz/Eve now. Hmmm, so all told... Rock vs. Cena HHH vs. Taker Punk vs. Jericho Bryan vs. Sheamus Big Show vs. Cody Orton vs. Kane Team Laurinaitis vs. Team Long Ryder/Kelly vs. Miz/Eve Sounds good to me. And all the multi-person matches means that a fair majority of the notable roster will be on the card, which means we can cut down on the number of ridiculous, time-wasting skits that exist almost entirely just to squeeze a few more people onto the card. More time for matches now, I'd hope.

I'm thinking that we might end up with Ryder/Kelly v Miz/Eve now. I'd be okay with that, so long as Ryder won. It could start a fun angle where Ryder goes after Cena's past opponents because he wants to become as ALMIGHTY POWERFUL as him so he can't get destroyed by people like Kane anymore.

I think I'd rather see Miz not at Mania than jobbing to Ryder. I like Ryder, but I still don't at all like the guy being in the position he's in.

I'm thinking that we might end up with Ryder/Kelly v Miz/Eve now. Eve and Miz seems counterintuitive considering that they made a big deal that The Miz was in a slump as of late (or ALL of 2012 if you're keeping score) and that Eve's shtick is that she's manipulating her way to the top. Personally, I'm still hoping for Kane vs Ryder or Eve/Ziggler vs Ryder/Layla.

Maybe if they had built up Swagger enough that him having a match at Mania would matter for something, but a little late for that. As for Miz, I kind of get the sense that they're doing a slow burn face turn for him and that he'll be left off the card as part of that. Sort of an intentional invoking of what happened to Sheamus last year.

My Ryder prediction goes like this:
Who he's probably gonna face:
Either Swagger or be left off the card
Who I want him to face:
-Kane -Christian -Del Rio -Miz -Ziggler -Swagger -In that order

One thing I could see happening would be Kelly winning the title, then her and Ryder teaming up against Swagger and Eve with both titles on the line.

If they do MITB at WM, I could actually see Ryder winning it. Though there is no doubt he'd be the first to lose the cash-in. I know that's been said before, but I'd 100% believe he'd fail.

Maybe he could be in the GM match? He does have that history with Teddy, and there aren't a lot of credible/popular faces to go around.

Who I want him to face: -Kane -Christian -Del Rio -Miz -Ziggler -Swagger -In that order I don't think I could buy Ryder going through a gauntlet match like that.
