First, I think Hardy/Sting pretty much has the Gooker locked. I can't picture anything topping that unless the WWE intentionally tries to. I was definitely gunning for Hardy/Sting along with most people - a few people said that somebody would have to do something really over the top to be able to beat Hardy/Sting. Then Matt Hardy came along. At this point a lot of people are suggesting "The Hardys in 2011" for Gooker, which I think might be decent. Between Jeff's drug induced meltdown and Matt's stupidity induced meltdown this would be the best choice. Seriously, what can top a 1 minute main event with a shoot pin due to being high, and a "totally not" suicide note?

I hope they don't think lightning's gonna strike twice on this "faking a release" thing, especially seeing as it's Nash we're talking about here. this

Giving Matt a Gooker would just be feeding his gluttonous appetite for attention.
He doesn't deserve it, because it wasn't even a wrestling foul-up, it was just a jobless man acting like an imbecile on the internet.
Still, Jeff's certainly earned it for this year.

Isn't it obvious that the health checks didn't work out and he can't work as an active performer? I'm sure the legends contract is still intact, but I think he's done as an on-air guy.

Probably kayfabe, but if it's true, hey at least he lasted longer than Marty Jannetty's last 7 runs. COMBINED

He'll return as "Oz"
"Defying Gravity" will be his new theme.

I'm thinking Trips will lose, then reveal himself to be the anonymous Raw GM and stick around. I think that whole "anonymous Raw GM" angle is gone and shall never return....what a hole

I still don't get why while Vince did like nothing in the day-to-day operations Triple H has to be everywhere running everything. If he's having so much trouble keeping things in order, why not just let the GM handle it?

I'd assume, in kayfabe, that Vince delegated to a bunch of evil flunkies like Johnny Ace (and Patterson, and Brisco...), and Triple H doesn't trust these guys, so he's doing everything himself until he knows who he can rely on.

I don't think he's actually gone, but I wouldn't put my house on him interfering at NOC, costing Punk the match and turning HHH heel. WWE takes the unobvious route more often than people think, especially when they've added a stipulation that seemingly makes it clear someone will win.
I'm very interested to see what happens at NOC though. HHH and Punk are both faces, but HHH is coming off as a nice guy while Punk has been giving him endless unwarranted shit from day one. If he turns heel and Punk was right all along it'll almost be like a face turn for a face, if that makes sense.

Nash isn't gone. He was fired and then got into a limo with Johnny Ace. There's more to this. He'll be back at the ppv.

It's a good thing it wasn't Scott Hall that returned, his release would have probably been legit.

Why would they reveal a major plot development (Nash faked the text), then immediately release the guy its all about? That's not logical. This is a work.
