The best thing since Sharktopus: www.dreadcentral.com/news/48389/sand-sharks-trailer-here-bring-joy-worldBrooke Hogan's ass has gotten....BIGGER. That is what I take away from that trailer. Oh, and sand sharks. There's those too. As for MY personal horror HoF inductees, I'd suggest going with either an all female, or mostly female lineup this time, because these "Queens of Scream" deserve spots as well: Maila "Vampira" Nurmi Cassandra "Elvira" Peterson Linda Blair Heather Langenkamp (How is she NOT already in? ;D ) Jamie Lee Curtis Janet Leigh Tiffany Shepis (this generation's go-to gal for B-movie screams) Sigourney Weaver (Come on...ALIEN and GHOSTBUSTERS and she's not in?) Tippy Hedren Marylin Burns Just off the top of my head. ;D

Watched the final Saw movie on Saturday night. At least, I hope it's the final one. It was freakin' painful - from the opening, which we both assumed was going to turn out to be either a performance art piece, or some strange Jigsaw museum, to the hideous acting of the investigating officer, to the totally hackneyed ending, it worked really hard to kill my love for the Saw series, which some weak installments hadn't dislodged.

Also, it's Halloween, which can only mean that I'm going to bust out something shocking - I'm thinking Beyond the Darkness.

Happy Halloween guys!
Tonight, I'll be on trick-or-treat duty, and at the same time enjoying my Halloween 1/2 double header on glorious high definition Blu-ray. Afterwards, I plan on sitting down with leftover candy and watching the Muppets host Monday Night Raw. Sounds like a good Halloween night to me ;D

Well, the day is here - celebration of the harvest if you're a farmer, festival of Samhain if you're a Wiccan, and, for most of us, the day where it's perfectly acceptable for adults to OD on horror movies and candy. Halloween rocks, and may everyone have a good, safe, and memorable one!
With that out of the way, much thanks to everyone on the HOF suggestions (and that is WAY more than I ever hoped there would be, so give yourself a nice round of applause). I shall do my best to not disappoint everyone with the next batch of inductees.

Happy Halloween!
My day will spent with a few friends carving pumpkins, watching horror movies and attempting to trick or treat (why the hell shouldn't I be able to get free candy?!?). My friends are threatening to make me watch The Human Centipede (Full Sequence). Considering how much I loathe the first, I hope this doesn't happen.

I'd say I was going to watch a set amount of Horror films...but I got volunteered for babysitting tonight so I'll be watching Hocus Pocus.
Oh well. I like it, too.

I, unfortunately, have work until 9:30. I'm taping Muppet Night Raw in one room, so I'm hoping to squeeze in a horror flick or two before November 1st hits (If I start a movie before midnite, even if it goes into the next day, I'm still counting that as "squeezing in"). Blah.

Well, since it's Halloween might as well pop in the immortal classic Rob Zombies: Halloween II.

The Human Centipede 2 was a bleak and depraved exercise in tedium. There is graphic violence, torture and coprophilia but you may be too bored to be bothered by any of it.

I also highly enjoyed your Attack of the Monsters review, DSR. It's always good seeing a movie that you absolutely gush over, and that movie sounds like 11 kinds of cheesy fun.

Happy Halloween, guys! Just watched last night's episode of The Walking Dead, and now have the Never Sleep Again documentary on in the background. And of course, the Muppets RAW for later tonight (I have it DVR'ed, like I always have for RAW. Just because it's easier to go through, and just in case my brother stays home tonight). It's a good day. == Happy Halloween! Annnndddddd...he got roped in (according to YJ's FB and Twitter). That sucks.

Ok, having just watched the immortal classic Rob Zombies: Halloween II, I must say this might be the most unintentionally funny movies ever made. Or maybe it was intentional, who the Hell knows. The fact that maybe 48% of the film is either a dream a hallucination a drug overdose or a combination of all 3 was quite inspired to say the least. I think a more apt title for the film would have to be "f***" as that was the most used word, only just beating "f***er" by like 3 or 4 uses. I was kind of disapointed that Micheals first words were not "f*** you", that would have been the pièce de résistance, but allas it wasn't to be. Actually an even more apt title would have been "Wandering Hobo that Kills Random People", I swear this fellow killed more random people totally unconnected to the story than Roy in Friday the 13 part V. Random observation but that may be the longest version of "Knights in White Satin" ever in that beginning scene, it's like ten minutes long.

Watching old horror films on TCM right now. Great channel, and these old, somewhat cheesy movies are fun to watch.
Unfortunately I have a night class after that, but I have to try to sneak in a viewing of Halloween after since I always do that.

Thinking about Halloween, I just realized that the first 48 f***ing minutes from the movie are like the penis of leper, as in entirely bloody pointless. The story is suppose to establish Michael's mentality when he became a killer, but since the characters are so different from each other, it feels like a mix of two movies. young Michael is a loud, motor mouthed douchebag who enjoys showing his face off to people and killing those who abused him, while big Michael is a huge roided out man who is quiet and kills people for looking at him funny. So we actually have a movie of a child murderer and a big muscle man going out and cleaning up the gene pool.
And to think all this could have been avoided if Father Zombie had given Rob an Elmo doll......

You watched Raiders of the Living Dead? Did you manage it in one go, or segments? I had to take three tries, and even then, watched it in 20 minute segments.

Funny story. I had Halloween playing while I was handing out candy tonight, and an entire group of kids walked in on the scene where a topless PJ Soles is being strangled by Michael Myers. Oops.
