Montreal have had 5 Power plays.
The Bruins have had none.
I know the game is in Montreal, but *come on*...this is rediculous

Now if only someone other than Lucic could actually score a goal at some point this season, they might have a chance. |

The Bruins offense is a joke at best. They run the same exact play EVERY SINGLE TIME. They must be the easiest team in the league to prepare for. All you have to do is just stand there.

No one other than Lucic or Seguin has scored in 3 straight games (Bergeron's doesn't count). What the f***.
If it weren't for Columbus, they'd be the worst team in the league. Way to go, champs.
EDIT: They're gonna need one EPIC November and December, like they had three seasons ago. I'll start gathering the sacrifices, somebody build the altar.

How in the HELL did the Red Wings went from 5-0 to 5-4? It's not even funny!!! Yes it is. Quite, in fact. And the Hawks pull away from Columbus in the 3rd period to defeat the Jackets 5-2. 2 goals from Victor Stalberg, 2 assists from defenseman Nick Leddy, rookie Marcus Kruger's first NHL regular season goal, a shorty for Davey Bolland, and an empty-netter for Michael Frolik with 3 seconds left on the clock. They won without Carcillo (suspended tonight and Monday) and with Ray Emery spotting Corey Crawford in net on the second half of the back-to-back. Emery stopped 27 of 29. Stalberg skated with Toews and Brunette on the top line as well as doubling up with Mayers and Kruger on the 4th (John Scott = 1:40 of ice time and 3 shifts with a -1; where's Rusty Olesz?!) in the 3rd period. Sharp/Kane/Hossa was about as quiet as can be as far as their line goes. |
