I dunno. I think Henry just might be starting to grow on me. I'd still love Sheamus to take the belt off him but at least he's a better option than Orton. I wouldn't said that a few weeks ago. So face Orton is about to be in the same position heel Christian was in when he was champion. Having to beg for one more match. A little ironic when you think about it. But of course when Orton does it they'll somehow spin it to look like he deserves it rather than actually admit he's basically being a whinny bitch just like Christian. Hell, Orton has even LESS reason to complain since Christian's first title defense was sprung on him by Teddy Long before he had time to prepare and in the rematch he had his foot under the rope. Orton has lost clean as a whistle twice.

This build of Henry does have the old school feel of the unstoppable force (See Earthquake, Bundy & Andre) except he actually has the belt.
Setting it up for a Sheamus or whoever to defeat the unstoppable force of Henry Hogan style.

I hope so. Start a David/Goliath thing with Daniel Bryan leading into Mania. Great way to put Bryan over, and makes for a memorable reign for Henry. For Bryan to beat Henry, the WWE would have to do to thing. 1) Make Bryan a f***ing star. Go the Benoit route. No need for big level promos, just have him show up, kick ass and make someone tap. 2) During the matches, consistently show Bryan chopping his opponents (who are pretty much all bigger than him) down to size. Having him using leg locks and kicks that slow people down. Show that despite Henry's huge size and massive strength, Bryan can cut him down, especially considering Mark's bad knees. It would be a lot of work but I think the payoff would be huge and Bryan would be a legit upper-card to ME guy. That makes too much sense

I enjoy Mark Henry's current run as a believable monster heel. I'll admit to not care for him before he turned heel on Smackdown this year. He's gold. This is how a monster heel is booked. I like that he's a monster-heel that gets to go over in the big match rather than the usual bully that comes-up short. Having him go over clean now really builds him for when when he finally goes down.

Right now he reminds me of Vader's old WCW Title run. But I guess that would make Orton Sting, and I don't know if I'd go THAT far.

I'm so in love with this feud. Mark Henry kicks so much f***ing ass and watching him dismantle Orton's offense is so dope. Here's to the never ending reign!

Hard to believe we actually got a 1-star match from the Sin Caras and 3 or 4-star match out of Henry. I'm digging this reign. Henry is a monster.

Can we then have them face off on a beech and blow up a boat? First we have to turn Wade Barrett face to team with Orton and give Henry Eli Cottonwood as a tag team partner. [Sorry Sid fans, but Cottonwood was the only 7 footer I could think of that wouldn't have a reason to hate Henry.]

I figure they'll come up with some reason to have a third match at Vengeance despite the two clean wins and Orton will win it back, but I'm really, really hoping that Henry carries it through Mania. Speaking of Henry and Vengeance, that commercial was hilarious. Well, now that Batista is retired from the business, I suppose Orton can have his Game Genie, I guess.

I mean, he got a title match the same night Rey Mysterio won the tournament to become the new champ.

This is how a monster heel is booked. other than the Sexual Chocolate run this is the only time i've enjoyed Henry's run. (well ok maybe a little bit with Tony Atlas in ECW)

I didn't think Mark Henry had a run like this in him, but I'm enjoying the hell out of it at the moment!
Credit for once, to the booking/writers, and to Orton for doing two clean jobs. Can you imagine WWE letting Henry go over Cena like that? No, neither can I. I'd like to see Orton narrowly lose a 'last chance' third match and totally go off the deep end after that. Go utterly insane, and return to Henry a few months down the line.
Failing that, continue to build Sheamus and have him eventually win the belt.

As much as I'd like to see DB make Henry tap, wouldn't making a monster heel tap out make seriously reduce how much a threat Henry looks later?
Though Cena pulling out that sick STFU with the ropes was awesome.

THAT is how you push a monster champion.
The only downside was Orton hitting Henry with the chair afterwords, but that had to have been retaliatory, as his RKOs didn't work.
Who would've thought that Mark Henry as champion would be so awesome?
