People still get completely outrage at the Trish Stratus barking like a dog thing. That is proper heel heat. I doubt Trish had a problem given that she stuck around another five years or if nothing else, she got over it - so the fact that it STILL pisses people off, at the risk of sounding a bit Russo, is what makes that the high point for me. She's said numerous times that she didn't mind doing that segment because she knew the blow off at Wrestlemania would be huge for her character. I still think it's disgusting and it baffles me that anyone can be aroused by that--but Trish has said in every interview where she's been asked that she agreed to it and did it because she knew it was pivotal for getting her character over as a babyface at WM. Everyone forgets that Trish was a hated heel during that time period. |

I've just re-watched the Trish segment - I'd completely forgotten just how evil it was, just brilliantly done by both Vince and Trish. Really makes you want to see him get his ass kicked.
