Okay, so MK is in the hospital and needs to tag someone in to write the TV Title match. Who's up to the job? I hope he isn't in the hospital for anything too serious.

Judging from his PM, I think I made a poor choice of words - he is at the hospital, not in it i.e. someone he knows is having trouble.

BRB, I'll have to re-write a promo I was supposed to be working on and send it to you solo.

Words cannot express how disappointed i am with the choice of name. it makes us sound just so childish. Just because the site is called that doesnt make it a good name for a wrestling company. I cannot imagine a single human being paying money for a ticket for a wrestling company called that. Sometimes I think i'm the only one who cares about realism and trying to make us look like we're not a joke. I would dearly love to know what possessed everyone to pick the most awkward choice. END OF RANT. I voted for "Ring Of Awesome" as the first choice myself, but it could be worse. The old name was a combination of a real promotion (WWF) and the name of the forum (WrestleCrap). This new name is the same thing, being a combination of the AWA and the Freakin' Awesome Network.

Not the name I wanted personally, but it's all good.

If I remember correctly, I had voted for Internet Wrestling Union, followed by Michaels' name.

Just thinking out loud here, but something I've long thought could be interesting is if each FAWA Referee had quirks that affect the way a match transpires and thus how it is written.
What if one referee is sharp, by the book, but easy to bump while one is the exact opposite - tough as nails, lax on the rules, but easily distracted?
Imagine if every booked match also had a referee assigned to it. I think it could provide flavorful characterization while providing a helpful guide to possible events within a match for a writer. The downside I can see is that referees rarely have that depth, and we write them as one-dimensional characters as we are used to them being. That said, Earl Hebner and Nick Patrick provide two rare examples of this idea having weight.
What say all of you? Would you be willing to have referees with a little bit of depth for the possibility of providing some built-in match psychology?

I'm all for that, and maybe the following links will help: "Spud" Verne JohnsonLloyd McFloydJohn CreedWill Alphonzo

Oh wow, with the exceptions that "Spud" is practically a midget and Creed being black, I forgot their appearances after all this time. I'm surprised those links still exist - though I imagine you did some archive hunting for them...
The newest ref of course is Jake Kwon, but maybe BRB should hire someone new to freshen things up.
In any case, I'll wait to see if the idea had any more traction before sharing my specific ref trait ideas as well as the ultimate discussion that would result from it to come to a general agreement upon them.

Hi BRB,
I've submitted a PM to you. Match is done aside from commentary.

The only thing I remember about Ref Personality is that B.A HATES Jake Kwon......and actually beat the tar out of him after he lost the CoH.
Also a bit of clarification:
~ Brian Alexander and Mulligan/Demento are different people. ~ They are brothers. ~ Mulligan won the CoH from Evil M right before the Muppets PPV.
(Here's where things get complicated)
~ B.A stole the title from Mulligan and pretended that he WAS Mulligan.....joined Whitey inc and decided to drop the pirate gimmick and wrestle under his "real" name.
~ B.A Turns on Whitey.....Whitey beats down B.A and the insuing head injury causes Alexander to obsess over Ponies and become "Brony Alexander".
~ B.A Feuds with The General of The Monkey Army (Ok....mostly the Wind-up Monkey)
~ IRL I hit the wall creatively and after floundering with no "real" feuds I decide to have Mulligan Return, with no explanation as to Why I was a Pretty Boy/Brony in the interim.
~ Mulligan is going quite well, and then I decide I want a DRASTIC change and request the Pink Slip coming out of Gookermania.
~ I try out a couple gimmicks (Pumpkin King/M3/Demento-Prime) before settling on "King of All Media" Demento.
~ I decided to "Retire" Demento from Active use after the Animated PPV, as I was getting a bit burnt out on him.
That in a nutshell is How I got from Pirate to Gentleman Thief/Bastard

A magical journey that should make for a hell of a DVD set.
The show is almost a go. I just need the TV Title match to be completed with commentary and I'll post the show as soon as possible.
What is the final tally on the new Niteraw theme?

Commentary is being added as I type this out BRB. You should have it in under 30 minutes. EDIT: Or your pizza is free.

Is it weird that as much as I care about the fed name, I could not give less of a crap about the theme song?

Apparantly "A Warrior's Call" wins.

What is the final tally on the new Niteraw theme? I liked your suggestion: Actually, I believe that was Drakin who picked it out. Nonetheless, of it's winning, then it shall be the new theme.

Is it weird that as much as I care about the fed name, I could not give less of a crap about the theme song? It's probably because you can avoid listening to the song if you want, but you'll need to read either the name or the abbreviation many times in the future.
