LAW is really starting to get annoying to me, im a fan and has been listening to it for a while but they seem to be negative about everthing! Even if they say they arent 100% negative they really are most of the time. Review a Wai is awesome at the moment though, Wai is great.
But yes AJ can work, but we just havent seen enough of it yet on mainstream tv yet

I've only seen two matches of hers. One with Naomi which was one of the best matches that year, and one with Brie Bella which was awkward and pretty much terrible. So I don't really know what to think of AJ. Was it ring rust or was Naomi carrying her completely? Didn't seem like it in their match though, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. AJ and Naomi are both good. But Naomi is incredible. She's carried many lesser talents to great matches in FCW and NXT. I'm not saying that AJ is bad, but Naomi doesn't get enough credit. I DON"T think that Naomi carried AJ--but I DO think she gets overlooked. She spent more time in FCW because she was one of the best diva wrestlers that could actually work and put on a good match, not because she needed more training. And remember, Naomi was a yearling when she was selected for NXT (she signed in the summer of 09, and the show started in the fall of 2010). She was the standout of that season with only a year's training. Think about that for a second.

Naomi is getting played by the E just like Lena Yada before her. She's better in the ring than anyone showing up in NXT, and no, her mic work/charisma wasn't bad. If hers was bad, then Kaitlyn's was too, as was Aksana.
Back on topic. Here's the thing about the rope discussion that NEVER gets brought up: ring set up. In short, it's set up to handle guys like the Big Show, Khali, Henry, and other huge dudes.
That's why when a diva runs it, it usually barely budges.

She's middle of the road at best. She's no where near the Beth/Kharma/Nattie level but she's far and away better than the K2/Aksana level. I agree.

From watching the majority of her matches in FCW & WWE, the one thing I've thought she needed to improve on is her top-rope work, which is still evident from a few weeks ago on SmackDown. The way she launches herself by squatting down and holding the ropes with her hands, then just jumping down has always looked pretty awkward. She's never really outright botched a cross body as bad as she did that time though, which is unfortunate since that's what everyone's going to see. But otherwise, she's decent and is probably the best diva in terms of selling.
Also, now that they're having her wrestle again, they should probably start having her work house shows. The last one she worked was on January 8th, which is far too long. She needs to work off some ring rust and be able to improve, which she can't do by working a single 1-2 minute match every week.

I'm surprised Dan didn't think she was AJ Styles. He did an episode of NOAH where he listed all of Minoru Suzuki's accomplishments because he thought he was the same person as Kotaro Suzuki. Or maybe Mauro Ranallo did that.
Anyway, I like The LAW guys but I haven't listened to the show in a while. The whole WWE SUX ROH RULZ deal is so played out and if they don't do that a caller will.

I posted this on the Law Facebook page as I had just got finished listening and Dan responded. He said he felt she didn't look good against the Bellas, which is understandable. As people have said, she's middle of the road and nobody is having a good match against the Bellas. I guess the surprise and the defense comes out when she is comparing her to Kelly Kelly. It's like comparing a halfway decent wrestler to the Great Khali.

Have they seen her other matches? She is incredible, and I think with some more work on packaging her (I actually really liked her look with the shorts, sneakers and neon colors) they could do great things with her as a babyface. Instead I think she will languish away as a dancer and be released without a match on RAW or Smackdown because she doesn't have the look they want. She's one of the few women that could get over just on her wrestling abilities. The crowds always popped for her in the ring because she was that DAMNED GOOD. The only other diva that can do that on wrestling ability alone alone is Natalya. If they took her seriously she could go far.

I only knew her as one of Brodus' dancers and now I'm bummed that she's no wrestling on the main roster. Like, wtf? She looks damn good in the ring.

Listening to the LAW again tonight (I'm not sure why I still do since their smarky know-it-all attitude has gotten on my nerves now for a while) and the topic of how great this Daniel Bryan/AJ stuff has been when Dan "The Mouth" Lovranski said that it's good because it means it keeps AJ out of the ring and pretty much implies that she can't run the ropes nor can she wrestle. This really annoyed me since it just seems to me to be another case of someone talking out of their ass without actually seeing actual matches of someone instead of 30 second squashes, but I have to ask the question, are there actually people out there who think that AJ sucks as a wrestler? 'The Mouth' is a clown. I find myself disagreeing with nearly everything he says.

Ironic thing is, right before NXT season 3 ended, the dirt sheets were reporting that, no matter who won the season, the finalists (Naomi & Kaitlyn) would both immediately be called up to the main roster. As for the Naomi/AJ match, it was a very enjoyable 6-7 minutes of wrestling that I wouldn't mind watching again but it's not some classic that every single person that calls themselves a wrestling fan has to watch.

As has been mentioned, all sports entertainers will have their haters. She is the best diva they have. Great worker + great on the mic + great charisma. Other than Sara Del Ray, I'd say she is the best womens' wrestler on the planet right now.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fan forum has found it's replacement to Mickie James, AJ! She is solid in the ring, better than most of the divas, but not as great as many believe.
I agree about Naomi and not just her in ring talent. Her character was something different and the fans really liked her on NXT, easily the most over face on the show. Also I think she is pretty good looking, not really seeing the problem with her look. Does Vince still think having a big butt is a bad thing?

That is a ridiculous statement to make with Natalya in the same company and all of the other women on the indies and CMLL busting their asses.

I'd say that other than the bella twins, she's the most useless womens wrestler of all time.

I think that can be applied to everyone who has seen that match, I mean Cole praised the match and, IIRC, the crowd got bummed when they announced that AJ was eliminated at the end of the episode (I'm going to guess because she won over the crowd with that match, although the same could be said if Naomi was the one eliminated).

She had the crowd chanting her name in the middle of a minute-long squash match at the beginning of her Smackdown tenured, when she'd basically only been on internet-TV before hand. Edit: Beaten to it...

By your definition that's something that every single Diva in the WWE(even Kelly Kelly is falling into that same rut) and most of the Midcarders are incapable of doing. AJ definitely has charisma. I mean her feud with Maxine got some pretty good reactions for a Divas feud. And the crowd did get into their matches as well, which is pretty good especially for NXT this past Summer, where most of the other matches and feuds got no reaction at all.
