Thank God. He was fired for BS reasons (Miz should have been the one to be let go, in my opinion) and I'm sooooo glad he's back. None of them should have been fired. Miz was playing his part as a heel, and did what he was told, as a company man. Why should he lose his job for that? The National Guard could have just asked for it not to happen again. Kind of like GLAAD did, actually, but somehow they gained more ire for being diplomatic than these hypocrites did for getting someone fired.

I realize you feel the need to trash the Miz in literally all of your posts so I'll just say, nobody should've been fired. A heel interrupting the National Anthem is just good solid heat, not a fireable offense.

I don't think the NG wanted Finlay fired, just they were upset and complained to Vince. Vince then fired him to appease them like he did Bryan when Mattel bitched. Finlay probably would have been back sooner but I think he was enjoying working the indies.

WWE does that at times to appease people, but you know damn well (with the worker) that they are never seriously going to can him forever, and will wait until it dies down.....which they did. It's better to do that for someone like Finlay so they can work elsewhere instead of indefinately suspending them without pay so not only do they not get paid, but they have nothing to do in wrestling in the meantime.

Finlay is one of the best wrestlers in the world and a true craftsmen. He deserves to be in WWE and the largest wrestling company in the world should have one of the best behind the scenes. And, he needs to wrestle Bryan and a host of other people.

But Vince had to appease the national guard so he felt the need to fire SOMEBODY. In my humble opinion, Miz should have taken the fall for this, not Finlay.

Ok, so you're a billionaire you "have" to fire someone, do you go with the main eventer who draws money and ratings or the road agent that 85% of your fan base won't know or notice is gone. You're right, firing Miz was so the way to go.

This is awesome! I'd even mark for a surprise Wrestlemania moment.
His name is FINLAY, and he loves to fight! Ha
EDIT: Also, does this mean he'll get a cameo in the new Leprechaun movie??

I had a feeling they would bring Finlay back and felt like after the whole hullabaloo with Miz and the National Anthem, they were just telling him that basically............once this dies down, we'll bring you back into the fold. That's how I felt too, and thankfully seems to be the case. Finlay himself was all class about his firing in interviews, holding his hands up and saying that Vince takes feedback from soldiers particularly strongly and that diplomatically it was a pretty bad call. It's certainly up for debate about all that, but Finlay clearly bore no grudge and things seems to have turned out right for him again thanks in part to that. Don't know if this means the Divas will improve though - no guarantee he'll be assigned to them like he was in the past (which was apparently a rib on him, originally). Would be good, though.

When you're a proud and unabashed Miz hater, it makes perfect sense that any situation that tangentially involves him should lead to him being fired even if there's no logical reason behind it.

Article title says 2 vets? Whos the other? Here's the rest of the news report: Not happy about Taylor. The same re-treads keep coming back time after time, just moving from one company to another. They need a new perspective on things if they ever want to stop forcing the "glory days" down our throats and actually make new stars.

Finlay is a BATHTURD.
But seriously, I'm glad he's back. He's a good hand to have around and the rest of the talent should learn something from him.
