Am I the only one that wants to see a Tensai/Brodus match? If just to give Brodus an experienced big man to work with? As soon as I knew that Albert was coming back as Tensai, I told my cousin that I wanted to see a Tensai/Brodus feud where Tensai demolishes Brodus the first match or two and then gets Brodus to get serious with Tensai setting up a monster v. monster match somewhere down the line. As for his re-debut tonight, I thought it was all right and he looked real good in the ring. But I agree with the poster who said it would have been better to have debuted him on Smackdown.

I was hoping he would do a Muta-like spray mist to the face, instead of spraying the palm of his hand.

So did Mr. Excitement drop a hint that he's about to sic Tensai after Punk? What with that "Natural Disaster" line, and that being one of the translations of Tensai.

Albert/A-Train is one of my all time faves, but unfortunately his return was ruined for me by the fact that they picked Alex Riley of all people for him to steamroll over. Riley has the look that the WWE looks for, busted his ass to improve in the ring, and managed to get over and stay over without being on TV, AND without excessive pandering (of the Z!TLIS, DiBiase Posse, Midcard Mafia, and Swagger's Topless Q&A nature), and yet they continue to bury him. I understand that Tensai needed to look like a monster, but it should've been anyone but Riley.
It's not even the fact that Riley lost, but that they couldn't make him look a bit more competitive doing so. At least with Brodus Clay, he got to show that he can entertain a crowd. This is a guy who beat a former WWE Champion, and in kayfabe, he had the collective numbers of two former World Heavyweight Champions over and over to the point where they had to form a tag team to beat him. I don't mind Riley jobbing, but don't book him like a total chump. He deserves better than that. When are they going to open their eyes and realize how talented the poor guy is?
When I saw Riley was Tensai's opponent, I lost all hope that WWE would try to create new stars.

Seems to me like he's poised to be the new Umaga.

I liked it and the crowd seemed at least semi-interested. I'm really looking forward to see what happens in the next few weeks with him.

ok so dead serious. did anyone notice his face at times kinda like he figured out he wasnt over and or it was a bad idea to come back to wwe? Yes. I noticed him looking deep into the crowd every so often. Haven't really seen that before.

Honestly, he bored the crap out of me. It was one of the dullest squashes I have seen.
Also I miss Riley's push.

Honestly, it's a shame Bourne's hurt right now. As anyone that's seen his matches with Claudio knows, he sells like DEATH for big dudes. As for how they should have handled this, looking at it, they were still in FL, they should have had Mike Dalton come down from developmental in Tampa to do a "local jobber" match. Dalton's another guy that sells like a lunatic for bigger guys.

I could see another IC or US title reign for him and a few shots at the world or WWE title as the monster who challenges the champion.

He was very methodical, which I assumed was just an illustration of the Japanese big man style to be honest. I thought having the ref stop the match was a good idea, as it made him seem that much more devastating.
I'm sure he was getting reactions too. People aready writing him off as a failure makes me laugh.

I wasn't watching during Albert/A-Train's previous run, so this was my first look at him.
Loved the entrance attire and the whole persona, and he has a unique look, but the match itself was just... kinda slow and plodding, really, which is disappointing for a quick squash.

It was a fun squash, but he didn't really sell the whole "silent monster heel" thing for me. I hope that's not the direction they're going in with him.

Liked most of the match. Liked the "former WWE wrestler goes to Japan, becomes even more badass" angle. Loved the KO finish and the claw. Misting the hand before the claw was at least somewhat different than the rather overdone mist-to-the-eyes, so I liked that too.
Did not like the ring attire. It wasn't as over-the-top as I expected, but it's still too cheesy for my tastes. Maybe lose the arm thingies with the giant Japanese text on them and give him Vader-type gloves instead.

I liked it personally. He got a little pop there when he took his mask off. Just think it was the wrong time to debut him. Why debut someone else the same night Lesnar returns?
