Crowd counting out Del Rio in Spanish. Hilarious I hope this becomes the crowd's new gimmick for Del Rio. Speak in Spanish to him. Like instead of "WHAT" be like "¿QUÉ?"

A few more cheers than boos for Sheamus at the moment ...and we're still in Florida and it's only been two days. If that's it, WWE has nothing to worry about. Not that it will shut up a lot of the complainers around here, who were busy convincing themselves Sheamus' run was failing even pre-Wrestlemania when he was getting massive face heat. Meh, he was getting good heat but Bryan was also getting face heat too. I don't know why its hard to admit they s*** the bed there and made a mess they didn't have to make. I do agree in the long run it won't matter, it'll hurt Sheamus a little and help Bryan (if they don't bury him for it), but ultimately we're talking about ME'ers on Smackdown, which means midcarders on Raw and curtain jerkers at WM.

Judging by the fact that he has a DB avatar, I'm guessing it's moreso that the crowd would boo sweet little AJ and cheer the asshole boyfriend. And he's got a point, that's kind of a messed up thing to do. People like assholes. then people deserve what they get for liking those assholes

I don't think this will necessarily kill Sheamus moving forward in itself, but I do think it hurt him, and I do think WWE's going to shoot themselves in the foot with it. People turning on Cena started just as Christian and Jericho being cheered as much as he was, and WWE got so desperate to put a stop to that it wound up turning the crowd almost completely against him.

Expected the small reaction. He hasn't really done anything to garner a big reaction. Sheesh.

then people deserve what they get for liking those assholes They're fictional characters. Do you see a problem with finding Dr. Doom or Jason Voorhees entertaining?

And I've seen plenty of good angles too. Thats why I still watch. There's not much they can do this week. There just isn't. What happened at Mania happened and they should go with Sheamus as champ for at least a damn week. Oh, I'm not saying take the title off Sheamus. Just give people Bryan as a straight-up challenger instead of Del Rio and quit trying to shut the fans up by heeling him even harder. If people want to cheer him and buy his merchandise, LET THEM! New Cenas will never get made if they keep tamping down reactions like this. They're going to have to rely on part-timers to draw every Mania from here on out, if it keeps up. the people chose to cheer Big Show despite him being a whiny crybaby because he did to Big Show what he'd been encouraging Bryan to do to Henry. Plus there's the fact that post loss to Bryan behavior suggested he expected Bryan to give him title shots and to be an easy victim. So, they should have cut bryan's heel turn off in the first place.

Del Rio tried to attack Sheamus with a chair but failed. Sheamus was caught with the chair in hand and was DQed!
Sheamus takes his anger out on the ref to end the show

No Sheamus / Bryan interaction, huh? Probably a good call. Though cheating Bryan on a rematch entirely is stupid.

Kind of surprised. I figured Laurinatis would go after Booker in some way, but maybe they thought it would have no point.

then people deserve what they get for liking those assholes It's a motherf****** TV show. Wishing karma on people who happen to like a specific character on said TV show is just stupid.

Bryan gets another huge boost from diehard fans who think he's the poor, put-upon martyr of workrate and indie wrestling being held down by the big bad corporation (and don't think WWE isn't capable of playing off that, because that's the angle they used last summer to elevate Punk into a top star), and the casual fans who don't watch regularly will see the highlights package of Sheamus winning the WHC in seconds and think "Wow, that guy's tough", and a few WWE-edited recaps where he isn't being booed, and they aren't going to waste enough time on wrestling to go online and look at the websites where people are raising a row about this. And in a few weeks (or heck, possibly even by next Monday at this rate, which is when a bunch of new viewers will tune in after hearing about Brock), Sheamus' boos will have blown over anyway.
I don't know, I think everyone's coming out of this all right.
