You don't demand to be called up when you suck and haven't done enough in developmental to deserve being called up. The Bellas demanding to be called up would be like if Aksana demanded to be called up a year into FCW. And? If it worked, then I'd be impressed. They gambled, it paid off. WWE could have easily laughed and fired them. Thats what most people in FCW think would happen, but it didn't. They took a huge risk, made a few demands, and it paid off. I give them credit for that. The Bellas shouldn't really give s*** who "deserves" to be called up. They should be in it for themselves, and they made their attempt to move up, and they benefitted. WWE could easily have fired them before they even got called up like a bunch of other FCW people. So yeah, I'd say thats a point in their favor.

I think they look nice but not a big loss. Not the most talented people. It frees up roster space for other, more talented people to get their opportunity. They'll be fine doing modeling or getting "We use to be WWE Superstars" money from various promoters.

I'm not a Maxine fan, but I disagree. Even the best wrestlers need something to work with because pretty much every spot in a match requires at least two wrestlers doing their respective part correctly and credibly. A bump that would have looked great won't look so great if the punch, kick, belt shot, or whatever led to it missed by a mile. Put someone in the ring that can't bump, sell, strike, or anything, and it won't matter who the opponent is. Maxine tried to pin AJ once after AJ clotheslined her to the ground. It takes two, but if one can sell, they can make a s***ty wrestler's offense look effective. Case in point, AJ. You can carry someone to a passable match, you can't carry someone to a good match. I guess that's up to interpretation. Personally, I think if a punch or kick or whatever misses by a mile, selling it as if it looked great just makes things worse. And if AJ's selling made a Maxine match better than usual, that's more an indictment of Maxine's other opponents than Maxine herself. If Kaitlyn or Aksana can't sell as well as AJ can, there's not much Maxine can do about that.

Like the Bellas or not, you can't help but admire the balls they had to demand they be called to the main roster. Hell, if the guys had stones like that, both in FCW and on the main roster, the brand would probably be a whole lot better. As for anyone thinking that a guy couldn't get away with it (you know, because Johnny Ace + Divas = le oral sex), Alberto Del Rio got to keep the rights to his name, his image, and nearly skipped developmental because if these very demands weren't met, he wouldn't even sign a contract; in reward for his brashness, was practically handed the WWE title! Maybe a little cojones go a long way in the WWE...

If someone like Rollins came in and demanded to be on the roster a few months ago, that would be balls.

Unlike alot of the divas, they had characters. And I thought for the most part they were good in their backstage segments. And they're both really damn sexy. If it's true that they're leaving, I'll miss them for damn sure.

Oh please WWE keep em around at least as eye candy material (nothin wrong with that as WWE shouldn't be about pure wrestling only)

If someone like Rollins came in and demanded to be on the roster a few months ago, that would be balls. I don't see any difference in the two situations. Again, the whole "deserve" thing is meaningless. Everyone wants to be on the main roster, no one is going to turn it down and think "Well I don't deserve this". They knew they were primarily eye-candy anyway.
