Its been 3 weeks since we had a divas match on Raw.
There's only been one diva's match on Raw since March 5th.
Beth Phoenix hasn't won a match on TV since Elimination Chamber, plus she hasn't wrestled on Raw since February.
The Bella's are rumoured to be released at the end of the month.
Aksana has dissapeared since Wrestlemania. Kaitlyn, Tamina, Maxine and Alicia Fox are stuck on NXT.
And there's no signs that Kharma is returning anytime soon.
Time to kill it?

I'm delighted by it. Hope this is the end of the division because really, the whole thing's a waste of time.

I don't think we should kill the Divas division just yet.
Even though Beth Phoenix hasn't been on RAW for a while, I like that the Divas outside of the title picture get storylines (even if it is on NXT).
And who knows. Releasing the Bellas might mean that the E will hire new women's wrestlers to bring "legitimacy."

The plug should have been pulled years ago. They don't give a shit about women's wrestling and they never have. And since they don't care, the fans don't care, so the whole thing is just a waste of everyone's time. It's like the post-Mysterio Cruiserweight division, but without the benefit of the occasional decent match.

The rumor about the Bellas is that their contracts are expiring at the end of the month and they're not going to re-sign, not that they're being released. Big difference because if WWE fires you or you request and receive a release from your contract, you are subject to the 90-day no-compete clause. You're not subject to a no-compete clause if your contract expires, so if the Bellas' contracts expire on 4/30, they could go to TNA on 5/1.

clealry AJ is the Ironwoman of the division. her only two matches and two of the five 2 minute plus ironwoman matches have had her come out as the winner.

And some people want AJ to break up with Daniel Bryan completely and go solo in the divas division.
Sounds like signing a death sentence. If you're a female in WWE, it's about 100x better for you to be a character/personality interacting with the male talent than a strict competitor in the divas division.

It's obvious that WWE only wants them around for PR, red carpet/TV appearances and stuff like that.
None of them are good enough to warrant TV time over the men, unless it's Natalya vs. Beth every week. And, it seems that they don't want to get super talented female wrestlers that may overshadow the men. So there's really nowhere for the Divas to go, especially since they can't wear thongs and call each other cum-guzzling whorebags anymore. Not that I like them treated like that, but at least it gave them SOME type of dimension/reason to watch them.

If the division was full of women like Beth Phoenix, I would welcome some Diva's matches.
With the current roster of shit they have now, I don't miss it.

I still say that until WWE starts putting the effort they should into the Divas, they should keep them mainly on NXT and Superstars. The throwaway TV matches usually make it seem like they all suck.
