I'd bring him back, but not specifically for Lesnar. I'm tired of the returning stars creating their own bubble away from everything else.

Where's the Mason Ryan option?

honestly I see no appeal in that match up.
there's plenty of current guys to match Lesnar against. no reason to bring anyone in.

Honestly I was hoping that Johnny was gonna reveal Cena's opponent to be Batista this Monday. Really would have marked out for it and I don't even like Batista. So yeah, I say bring him back.

No, but only because I'd want him to come back as a heel. We didn't get enough it.

I liked Heeltista and all, but at the end of the day he was still Batista.

No, but only because I'd want him to come back as a heel. We didn't get enough it. Yeah, agreed. Batista is at his absolute best when he's a heel and if we ever needed a return from him, the "spotlight" Batista would be the only one I'd have an interest in seeing. In order for that to work, Lesnar would have to be face, which probably won't (and shouldn't) happen. That said, I might not mind douche bag Batista as Lesnar's mouthpiece.

Where's the Mason Ryan option? Yeah, I keep thinking they should have Mason Ryan and Lesnar fight, just because of the physical similarities, but then they've pretty much taken any degree of threat whatsoever away from Ryan.

Batista should come back in general, doesn't matter if it's against Lesnar but in general. He was a great wrestler and he had a realness about him that not everyone on the roster has.

Only if Lesnar turned face somehow. Douchetista was a lot of fun as a bad guy, but he's just boring as a face.

If he's gonna be Douchetista, I'd bring him back to feud with everybody.
Other than that, no.

Hasn't he shrunk down considerably now? We'd get "that's not the real Batista, the original died" comments all over Youtube.
...So yes, hire him back.

The last few months of Batista's career were creatively the best stuff he's ever done. I say leave on that. Leave on bowing out without a retirement match, with your best interviews and some very good matches, don't come back just to be fed to our top heel.
