Best spoilers from pwtorch: World Hvt. champion Sheamus comes out to a huge pop. Not true at all! You can get live updates on Twitter these days, which can easily show that some of the guys doing these spoilers make their favorite wrestlers look great. Search Twitter yourself, this did not happen. Mild pop at most. Ok seriously, is this necessary? You're trying to debunk someone who was at the show when you weren't? You clearly have an anti-Sheamus bias and it's fine to not like someone, but this is an incredibly ridiculous basis of proof to use.

Maybe Ryder's popularity fell off a bit, but I somehow don't see Truth outpopping Santino. Or maybe Santino's popularity is falling too, I guess? [Or maybe the writer forgot to include Santino there]

AJ is insane, lacks any kind of mental filter and is completely nuts and thus way more dangerous because of it. It's what they really need to play up, not that she's supposed to be physically threatening but that she's just a vicious crazy person who will relentlessly attackattackattack in such a way that it's kind of hard to fight back against. In other words AJ now has a pitbull mentality. Doesn't matter how much you knock her back she's going to be completely relentless and unyielding until you've been beaten down. ^ Exactly. Thank you.

It just occurred to me that this week we'll see the US champion on Smackdown and the IC champion on RAW, but not vice-versa. I know, I know, brand split is all but dead, but it's still weird. I personally think that's how it should be. The WWE created titles should be on RAW, and the ones absorbed from WCW should be on SmackDown

Why does it feel half like to me like they're going to have AJ come out at the start of Bryan / Punk, distract Bryan, and cause Punk to slap on the Vise or something to get the win right at the start of the match? Seems like the only suitable payoff to this thing, besides making AJ even more of a dumbass by having her go back to him.
Which, for all of the people excited for that match, would probably cause me to laugh my ass off.

The only plausible explanation for that would be for WWE officials to see if the IWC would completely turn on Punk like they did for Sheamus.

4. Ryback defeated Heath Slater. Before the match, Heath Slater came out and talked crap about Ryback. He called him a caveman with a peanut brain. Ryback came out and squashed him. The logic behind Slater talking crap about Ryback probably would consist of him talking about how Ryback is always wanting to be fed. Big Show being condemned by Johnny Ace, Jack Swagger losing, Hunico losing, Brodus Clay winning with yet another squash... this is a lousy SmackDown. But, sooner of later, Damien Sandow will have to wrestle.

So, like, is there a reason besides, "He's a face!" that Laurinaitis hates Big Show? Big Show earned this one fair and square. Almost immediately after Big Johnny opened up and shares that being teased about his voice makes him feel unnapreciated and insecure The Jerk Show was caught by Eve doing lame Johnny Ace immitations and trying to humiliate him. Maybe they should re package him as The Big Doosh! How this guy is considered a face is beyond me.

Finally getting a chance to hop on here after being at the show last night. Holy crap I don't think a match went over 5 minutes.
And the amount of screwy finishes were insane: -Sheamus and Orton vs. Jericho and Del Rio. -Bryan beating Big Show quickly by submission because of Johnny Ace. -Kofi hitting Swagger with the Trouble in Paradise through the ropes when the ref wasn't looking, allowing R-Truth to hit his finisher and get the pin. -Orton winning by DQ when Del Rio wouldn't break the Arm Bar when he was in the ropes. -Jericho beating Sheamus by DQ when Del Rio attacked Jericho.
OTHER NOTES: -I didn't see all of Raw yet, so I don't know if they wrestled, but R-Truth has a new tattoo down his side. -Titus and Darren don't have their deadly tag team finisher anymore. They use Demolition's finisher now. -Sheamus and Orton were both really over, and Daniel Bryan actually got a good reaction with competing YES! vs. NO! chants. Santino and Ryder both got considerable cheers. -Antonio Cesaro got a "USA!" chant during his match with A-Ry. -The only time "WHAT?!" showed up was during Sandow's backstage segment.

Looking at these results, the only thing that looks interesting is the Cesaro match.

Now it's time for the Funkasaurus. And, Cameron and Naomi. And his opponent is Hunico, who cuts a promo enlightening us as to what the name Hunico means. (9) Brodus Clay beat Hunico. Funkasaurus jiggles before the bell and then no-sells some punches from Hunico. Funkasaurus hits the usual offense culminating in a splash. Another squash. Very efficient post-match dancing. The show seems to be running long. After reading this, I can't decide whether or not I'm still grateful Hunico's on SD this week. Yes, he gets promo-time, but blah at no-selling punches and a squash match. I'm getting really annoyed with what WWE is doing with Hunico. It's like they realize he's a great talent, but just have no idea what to do with him. I'm not expecting him to be a main eventer or anything, but surely they could find SOMEONE for him to have a steady feud with. Maybe I'm just impatient, I dunno.

Considering guys like Miz and Ryder can barely get squeezed in on TV, I'd be a bit more patient/realistic with expectations for Hunico.

You could say that about two thirds of the roster at this point.

Like... it seems like we're seeing the same people doing the same things over and over each week, in a way? It's like WWE has decided "let's only use these people" and the rest just either don't get used, or used in a totally random manner. I know they tend to do that, but it seemsl like it's happening even *more* now than it was before. I feel like I'm not doing a very good job of putting all this into words, but I hope that made some kind of sense!

I wasn't paying full attention at this point because I knew it'd be a squash and I was looking at my camera, but I'm pretty sure Brodus actually no-sold Hunico AND Camacho before the match. I think they attacked him in the corner before the bell rang.

(5) Antonio Cesaro beat Alex Riley. Cesaro dominates early. "U-S-A" chants. Riley hits a clothesline or two, but then Cesaro hits his reverse piledriver finisher for the pin. Teddy announces him the winner. Aksana takes the mic and says she and Teddy are done. She and Antonio are lovers. They make out while Teddy watches. I don't know why they continue to misuse Alex Riley by having him get squashed. He's a lot more over than his position on the card would dictate. Didn't these two put on decent dark matches in the past? Claudio, while talented, should not be doing squash matches, especially not to someone roughly the same size. He's not a powerhouse like a Ryback or a Tensai, so it ends up makes the rest of the roster look even weaker.

OK, I've watched some of this on YouTube now... time for random thoughts:
*Daniel Bryan is such a damn troll. Such funny stuff when he dragged AJ along like that. AJ looked ready to kill a bitch though afterwards... Kaitlyn might need Witness Protection at this point. *I'm glad that Antonio Cesaro finally added some colour to his kit (even if it was just the Switzerland track jacket) and I do like the Cesaro/Aksana pairing. But we need to get him away from the "Teddy Long eats a shit sandwich" segments though. *Team CoBro or Team Marryder? You be the judge... *MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!!! MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, MILLIONS OF DOLLARS *Alex Wright dance*... Where did all this awesomeness come from with Titus O'Neil and Darren Young? *Why give Ryback pyro if you don't even bother to show it? Apparently he's a SHARK! SWIMMING! WITH! DOLPHINS! now too.
