WCW had some great themes that are probably overlooked due to lack of promotion.
WCW magazine stopped around mid 1994 and didn't resume until early 1995. They didn't have the same major production of video tapes and I don't remember merchandise catalogs in the magazines until 1997. WWF was a major promotion machine even though Eric Bischoff was great at promoting WCW/NWO. But as for themes they had the Slam Jam which was great but I think that's it aside from Hulk's Boot Band (if it was a WCW?). If WCW had a theme CD in the late 1990s it would be awesome. Now after so many years it would have to be done by WWE but it would still be epic if they had a lot of our favorites.
I think Arn Anderson always had awesome themes. I'm not sure if it was Paul E. Dangerously or Arn but it was around 1991 when I first heard it at Great American Bash. Then he had one for the Horsemen with Paul Roma. Then he had the Col. Parker theme and at Uncensored there was a video of Arn with that theme in the background. Arn promo combined with theme music made for an awesome piece. Then he had the singles 1995 theme which was amazing.
What I would like to know is if the Horsemen theme for the DVD was one used for the Horsemen in the late 90s. I know it is used for theme in DVD and it sounds original to the audience and announcers but I don't remember it from the late 1990s and it seems like a theme used so often to have to be WWE one.
