I've always had trouble fitting in with most people and I took a online test related to it and ended up saying yes to most of the questions. Should I take a trip down to the doctors and say about it?

None of us can answer that question unfortunately. You're just going to have to make that decision for yourself. Talk to people you're close to and ask them if they've noticed signs of it before you do though.

Everyone and their dog has Aspergers. You don't think it exists? I, as someone who has been diagnosed as such since I was 10, as well as the many scientists and doctors who all agree it exists, would disagree with you.

I can't speak for the poster, but I do agree with the general sentiment that I've seen my fair share of folks online who'll list 1 or 2 very basic symptoms of Aspergers and swear up and down that they have it, and won't get that backed up by any medical science(I've seen people, on this board no less, who outright REFUSE to see a doctor) OP, if you think you have it, schedule an appointment to see somebody. But don't go down the road of self-diagnosis(especially of a mental/developmental issue).

All I'm saying is people see they have one or two of the common symptoms and immediately jump to the conclusion that they have it. It gives anti-social people an excuse to be anti-social. Not saying that's the OP's case.

Everyone and their dog has Aspergers. Beat me to it by a country mile. As someone who was diagnosed with it age 2 I 100% agree. It is just a cover all situation to class anyone who is a bit "different" but autism doesn't cover it. The only reason I haven't disputed it is because I get £300 pounds a month for "living costs".

Everybody falls somewhere on the autism spectrum.
I'm not saying its not real, it clearly is but we all have it to varying to varying levels so unless it's affecting your everyday life badly I'd not worry about it.

Everyone and their dog has Aspergers. This type of attitude pisses me off. My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with it a couple of years ago, but we always knew something was up. She has had struggles after struggles after struggles. She tries really hard but things that are obvious to us just don't come to mind for her. She gets a thought in her head and it is stuck there. She has gotten better about settling down, but she still gets severely depressed that she just cannot be normal. People that dismiss her struggles so casually do not help. For the sake of people like my daughter, if you don't actually know anything about a particular disorder, either go to the effort to educate yourself on it in order to speak intelligently or just keep your opinion to yourself.

He's not dismissing diagnosed people, if you'd read his second post. He is dismissing those on the internet who have one or two common symptoms and then go down the road of self-diagnosis as a means to justify anti-social behaviors.
