www.411mania.com/games/news/194178/Ultimate-Marvel-vs.-Capcom-3-Possibly-Coming.htmAccording to comic blog The Quarter Bin, the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 announcement at Comic-Con will be a new game. Similar to Super Street Fighter IV, the rumor is that Capcom will announce Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The blog is reporting the price of the game will be a discounted $39.99, and will feature 12 extra characters. While Capcom has said nothing about this, producer Ryota Niitsuma said there would be "some exciting new details about the future of Marvel vs. Capcom 3" at the panel on Saturday. ------ And they couldn't make this DLC...why? because ten these greedy corporate son of a bitch bastards wont get so much money Bloody everything!Yes i'm mad. I hope its a lie,but until then i will act as if its true

Y'know, I'd probably be way more interested if it was just a Capcom-made Marvel fighting game. Most of Capcom's characters kinda suck when you get past Mega Man, Street Fighter, and Resident Evil.

They still could put some more characters from games like Darkstalkers and Rival Schools in. I cant believe Demitri hasnt made it into a MvC game by now.

After seeing the sheer quantity of amazing content in Mortal Kombat even before the release of DLC, I doubt I'll ever buy a Capcom fighter again. So shallow in comparison.
Mortal Kombat: Arcade ladder. Tag arcade ladder. 300 unique challenges. In depth story mode. Krypt. Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Arcade ladder. Combo practises.

That's why I wound up selling my copy to get LA Noire. Just not a lot of depth or replayability to it.

Capcom habitually screws their fans over. It's absolutely ridiculous. I basically spent 60 f***ing bucks on an incomplete game. No way am I giving them any more money for this entry in the MvC series.

When that happens the game around it has to be insanely solid. I can forgive SSFIV for having few (offline) modes, because the gameplay itself is just sublime.

I dunno, I don't really care for Street Fighter's gameplay personally. I can see what there is to like about it for those into that kind of thing and it's okay, but I think Capcom has a tendency to overcomplicate their fighting games.

That's my main gripe. If you're going to do this, at least make sure the first game is GOOD. MvC3 was all style & virtually no substance. They probably did this because MvC3 didn't sell as well as they thought it would. Maybe if they released the game with 12 more characters from jump street, it would've been better received. But no. They gave us a half-assed game when they knew they were going to soak us for more later on. Capcom, f*** off with that shit. It got old a long time ago.

I don't care for MvC3. A buddy of mine has it, having almost never played a Capcom fighting game. He mashes buttons and doesn't even know how to block, and still manages to beat me, and I've been playing Capcom fighters since SF II. Doesn't help that the screen's just wall to wall chaos with no idea what's happening a majority of the time.
Sorry, this rant has nothing to do with the conversation. Carry on.

I just like how balanced out and well-paced it is myself. If you play online or have a circle of friends that will at least play it with you, it's fun as hell. Someone I'm subbed to on Youtube, GeoffTheHero (aka DarkSydeGeoff...A LOT of people hate him, but I think he's the funniest thing on Youtube right now) described it best in one of his vids when he said that MvC3 is checkers and SFIV is chess. Both are fun in their own rights, but one takes a lot more thought, skills for their combos, and requires different strategies. It's the same reason Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike is still a mainstay at alot of fighting game tournaments than even SF II Turbo HD Remix.

No way am I giving them any more money for this entry in the MvC series. But if you don't give them money while they are milking MvC3 now, we'll have to wait another decade+ for MvC4.[/sarcasm] Seriously, f*** MvC3, Capcom dropped the ball with the game in so many ways it wasn't funny.
