I mostly hate live albums, but the energy level on
Halford - Live Insurrection
is just incredible.

The Clash: Live at Shea Stadium. Them opening for The Who at Shea Stadium from Kosmo Vinyl's intro to their cover of "I Fought The Law" is incredible. I love how joe Strummer basically recognizes that he is playing for a crowd that is just there to see The Who by saying things like "This one is called 'The Guns of Brixton'.... Ask the guy next to you what it's about!" Or mocking the size of the venue by asking some people in the back to "Stop talking! People are trying to concenttrate. So stop yakking!" Some of my favorite moments musically on the album include: Their cover of "Police On My Back", "Train in Vain", "Magnificent Seven" into "Armagideon Time" right back into "Magnificent Seven (Return)", "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" and the forementioned closer.
The Clash: Live From Here to Eternity. Just a hodgepodge of live Clash goodness. Best two songs are "Complete Control" and "Straight to Hell"
Dropkick Murphys: Live on St. Patrick's Day from Boston, MA. Released in 2002 (they released another live album in 2010 called Live on Landsdowne, that I'm sure more people are familiar with). Some of my favorites off of that one are "Upstarts and Broken Hearts", "A Few Good Men", and "The Gang's All Here" (which all sound better than their respective studio versions)
Stiff Little Fingers: Hanx!
