One year my family got a giant tin of popcorn. Another year a family friend gave us a hot-chocolate set from William-Sonoma.

One of the standard gifts I get each year is a can of giant black olives, now that I think about it.

My family knows I'm a foodie, so it's not unusual for them to get me some weird food items - gourmet smoked sausages, hot sauces from different parts of the world, Japanese kitkats, Beaver stew meat, etc.

My Nan always asks for pickled walnuts and looking at wikipedia it seems they are considered christmas food.

We give out a lot of candy and cookie tins on Christmas, wife has to make sure everybody we have over for Christmas dinner gets something. Stuff really adds-up. Between the regular gifts, all the food, and then all the extra "thanks for letting us feed you turkey" gifts it really adds-up. Sad as it sounds I'm kinda glad I'm working next Christmas eve and Christmas day next year. Get double-time and we likely won't have all those people over. I'll come-out a few hundred ahead for that.

Baked goods, candy, or gift cards to restaurants, if those count.

Baked goods, candy, or gift cards to restaurants, if those count. Gift cards dont count. They are their own seperate category, brah. Getting a gift card for Burger King isnt the same as getting actual food. Just my opinion though.
