Meanwhile TJ Yates wins again to clinch the division and John Skelton has the Cardinals alive in the playoff picture.

Well not being blown out yet. Only down 9.90 points going into SNF. But unless I get big games from Witten and Murray and my opponent gets bad games from Robinson, Bryant, and Cruz, I'm probably done for.
Damn you Peterson for practicing on Thursday and Friday, giving me the false hope that you'd be playing today and screwing me out of Pettigrew's 11.70 fantasy points.......

Crazy that, barring the Giants going buckwild on the Cowboys, the top 3 seeds in our FAN league on Yahoo! are going to be upset in the first round of the playoffs.

Coach Mike McCarthy confirmed after Sunday's game that RB Brandon Saine sustained a concussion against the Raiders.

Nonononono, I need Dallas to go buckwild on New York. Or more specifically Murray. If Murray plays like he did when he set that record. I need Dallas to have that kind of game, Murray going crazy, so crazy Dallas just keeps handing it off to him, preventing Dallas' receivers from doing jack.

So I'm down 166 to 114.
My opponent has Dan Bailey left.
I have Lynch, Cruz, Witten, and Seahawks D/ST left.
I should be good.

Tim Tebow threw 40 passes? Did John Fox suffer a blow to the head or something? The John Fox I know would never allow that.

SI_JimTrotter: Tebow: "I don't think it's Tebowtime. I just think it's Broncostime."
Even Tebow knows it's not all him.

All defenses got better as the season went on, not just Denver's. I wish people would actually use their short term memories, because QBs across the board were smoking defenders in the first third of the season.
It's the lockout, folks. That hurts defenses more than offenses, because defending takes more fine tuning than being on offense.
That said, I can't wait until Tebow's retired, I can only imagine what the movie rights for his story will run. It's like he's playing Madden, Madden Mode for the first 3.5 quarters, then switches to easy after that. You just can't make this stuff up. .

(4th Quarter next week)
Announcer: Well, it looks like the Pats are headed for another victory...leading Denver by 14...wait...what's that I'm hearing?
(speakers: "When it comes crashing down, and it hurts inside...")
Announcer: My goodness...that's...that's Tim Tebow's music!!

So, I'm basically gonna need a miracle to win in the Fox Sports FAN League tonight. I need 59 points combined out of Eli Manning and Doug Baldwin.

I can't even explain this team - when the game is all but lost something comes over them all. I don't know what it is, and I'm done trying to find logic in it - I just accept that our games aren't over until the final second; I just can't explain it.

Ten points in 15 minutes including a 59 yard field goal= torched And, "TORCHING BEARS D IN FOURTH QUARTER"...is a pretty frequent occurrence. It seems to happen every game, just the Bears occasionally get a takeaway to ice it. I mean, there was a game three years ago (so, yeah, pre-Peppers), where the Bears took a 1-point lead with 11 seconds left in the game...and lost. The Bears seem to always play prevent defense in the fourth quarter, no matter how much time is left, the score, anything. They ALWAYS seem to stop trying in the fourth.

Coach Mike McCarthy suggested in his post-game presser Sunday that he will play next week's game as he would any other in an effort to gain homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

I don't know what it is, and I'm done trying to find logic in it - I just accept that our games aren't over until the final second; I just can't explain it. Well they would have lost had Marion Barber done what every other RB in the league would have done and stayed in bounds. Broncos had as much to do with that as I did. And same the Bears were rolling in OT, and Barber coughed it up after blasting through half the Broncos D. Whats happening is the Broncos D is playing better, McGahee looks like a legit starting RB and as long as the games are close teams need to respect the Broncos run game (Tebow included) And since a close game can turn on just one or two plays the Broncos have had those one or two plays go in their favor.
