I asked if she would consider teaming up with me in this capacity while she also worked on her music, and I was thrilled when she said ‘yes.’ A big personality runs in her genes, obviously, and I know she is going to take an already exciting division of Impact Wrestling to another level."
Brooke is heading to New York next week for a media tour to promote her addition to the IMPACT WRESTLING team. Brooke will also promote “IMPACT WRESTLING’s” move to 8 PM and that the series will telecast LIVE for the summer starting Thursday, May 31. TNA's 10th anniversary SLAMMIVERSARY pay-per-view-event is set for June 10th in Dallas, Texas.
The TNA roster features many of the top names in wrestling including the aforementioned Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Sting, James Storm, Rob Van Dam, and the lovely and lethal Knockouts.
Brooke Hogan, a native of Tampa, Fl, is a successful television personality, singer and songwriter. Brooke starred in two acclaimed non-scripted shows on Spike’s sister network, VH1, including “Hogan Knows Best” and the spinoff, “Brooke Knows Best.” Both were #1 rated shows for the network. Brooke has also released two albums, “Undiscovered” in 2006 which peaked at #28 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “The Redemption” in 2009. Her song, "Everything To Me," peaked at #1 twice on Billboard’s Top Single Chart. Hogan’s film credits include “Little Hercules in 3D,” “Sand Sharks,” and “Devour."

Mickie James, coming up in the indies, going through every wrestling organization to being one of the few female draws in professional wrestling, what is Brooke going to advise her on?

Gail Kim is another one, working the indies in Canada, dealing with bulls*** in WWE, being the toast of TNA and them not wanting to pay her what she deserves, I bet Brooke can show her what's what, especially with her big ass contract.

And I think ODB is the strangest case because ODB didn't have the big time money jobs that Mickie and Tara had. ODB scratched and clawed her way through the indies. Listening to the Art of Wrestling podcast, and her sleeping on people's couches, and working with a popped breast implant for months on end. If you want to talk about someone who has worked through the hard times in professional wrestling, it's her. And what is this chick with a silver spoon up her ass going to advise ODB on?

Oh, let's not forget Sarita. Working throughout the indies in Canada and then going down to Mexico, quite the pleasant place Mexico is. Working hard and being successful down there. What is Brooke going to advise her on?

Angelina Love, another girl who worked throughout the indies in Canada, struggling and getting a WWE developmental contract, losing that, not knowing when the next indy date is gonna be, finally getting an opportunity to make it in TNA.

How about Winter, who jumped off balconies in Europe to get her name out there. I'm sure Brooke could teach her a thing or two. Especially about passion and desire to make it in wrestling.

If it's a Karen Jarrett role, I think it could be ok. I'm sure he doesn't think this, but Brooke is going to get mega heat, especially if they go outside the Impact Zone. I'm sure you could put her with any midcard heel and she's such a solar panel that it will give that heel some extra heat. Though it could lead to a nice angle where Hogan and Brooke have a big storyline on tv.

Mikey Cee doesn't even like this decision. I've never heard him disagree with anything in TNA, this must be the worst thing they've ever done! (I kid, I kid!)

In all honesty, Hogan, Dixie, and Bischoff must be the only ones who are in favor of bringing in Brooke Hogan. I mean, is anyone else genuinely interested in seeing what she can bring to the table. Even people that are trying to be positive are more like "wait and see" instead of pointing out how good she'll be for the company. If you wanted someone to help out with the Knockouts Division, why wouldn't you hire some retired wrestlers/Divas like Sunny who have a good working knowledge of the business.

Hogan wanted to give his daughter a job, not necessarily to help out TNA, but just so she wouldn't be a huge embarrassing failure with her music career. That kind of thinking is why TNA will always be exactly where it is.
