With Sabin not being 100% (he was slower, somewhat cautious, and seemed to be hurting during his first match back), Shelley didn't have many options, esp. since Alex Shelley is synonymous with MCMG in TNA.
Granted, a longer solo feud vs Aries might have been the solution, but with Aries in the upper card/main event picture, that's out of the window, too.
So I guess a change of scenery, at least for a while, might be good for him and, just like with Daniels, might lead to a renewed push when he'll come back.

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR YEARS. I hope this is true. Alex Shelley is so talented and i'm glad that wwe might be in his future. Same here. If anyone deserves a shot in the WWE, it's Shelley. He's been better than TNA for years.

Hasn't WWE's planned Cruiserweight show been in development for nearly 2 years at this point? Yeah, I'm beginning to think they spent less time planning the original cruiserweight division.

How much planning does a Cruiserweight division require?
Step 1. Hire Cruiserweights Step 2. Let them wrestle
How hard is that?

Theyre reporting it on the observer/f4weekly front page as well so I guess this is real.
This is great news. I hope he becomes the main event guy that I've always felt he could be.

I don't blame him at this point. TNA as not used him that much lately for whatever reason. The guy as talent and mic skills. The WWE looks for those things. Size doesn't matter as much. If Bryan can be world champion. Shelly has a shot. If Punk can have a long run as WWE champion. Shelly has a shot. All he needs is a chance too show his mic skills and let is in ring do the talking he have a chance too be successful.

I would honestly hope they make him a heel because he's really great at that. Also because it seems as if that most talents who end up making it have a strong heel run that makes them famous with bryan and punk being the most modern example. I know that from seeing his work in roh that hes got all of the potential in the world to go anywhere on the card. I just hope this isnt him quiting wrestling or something and he actually goes somewhere. He's got so much potential.

This is incredible. He's been my favorite guy in TNA for years, and I can't wait to see him if he goes to WWE.
He, Morgan, and Magnus were the three guys I wanted to see in WWE the most of everyone on the TNA roster. Things are definitely looking up.

Shelley is a charismatic and very talented guy, TNA should have used him even when his partner was not there. It's one thing to put all your dices in the hole in Aries but...yea that's just it, it was all Aries and the rest were just filler. Aries being the X champ was awful for the X Division.

I always saw Shelley as more of a technical wrestler myself. Plus,he can cut a promo. I think if hes allowed to be himself and talk,he could be someone wwe would like.
