According to my calculations, there are 20 definite turns. There are a few odd tweener phases.

1. Debuted as a heel at St. Valentines Day Massacre. 2. Turned face when he joined "The Union". 3. Turned heel when he aligned with the Undertaker. 4. Turned face when Undertaker was injured/feud with Bossman 5. Turned heel on the Rock in early 2000. 6. Turned face when he was trying to show personality, feud with Shane. 7. Returned in July 2000 and turned heel, forming an alliance with Shane before going to OVW. 8. Returned at Royal Rumble 2001, playing a tweener for the next few months. 9. Made a definite heel turn, facing Shane at Backlash 2001. 10. Turned face in the feud with the Alliance. 11. Turned heel when he joined the NWO. 12. Turned face for a VERY brief period in late '02, right before he went to Smackdown. 13. Turned heel by attacking Undertaker when getting traded to Smackdown. 14. Returned as a face in 2004 after being "fired" earlier in the year. 15. Turned heel when he joined ECW. 16. Returned to a face reaction, then turned heel by attacking Mysterio at No Way Out 2008. 17. Turned face right after WM, feud with Khali. 18 Turned heel in La Familia. 19. Turned face after ending alliance with Miz. 20. Turned heel by turning on John Cena.

Big Show was in La Familia? I don't even remember that.
I think at this point they should make this an angle and have Show have a split personality disorder.

That's not even including the fact he debuted as a heel in WCW, turned face briefly while feuding with Hogan for the title in the early nWo days, turned heel again by joining the nWo, turned face after getting kicked out of the nWo a first time, joined nWo Hollywood as a heel and then was kicked out AGAIN after the Fingerpoke of Doom.

Thats just WWE, you could add 5 more from WCW like 1. Debut with the Dungeon of Doom 2. Babyface when he fights the NWO 3. Joins the NWO the first time 4. Leaves the NWO to team with WCW people 5. Joins NWO Hollywood

How long did that return in July 2000 last? Because I don't have any recollection of it at all. As far as I can remember, he vanished after Judgment Day 2000 and returned at the 2001 Rumble.

There was that one turn where Kane was a heel for months, then Jericho approached him backstage, Kane said he loved the fans, and the next week he was a heel again.

Oct. 1997 - Debuted as a heel. Late 1997 - Tease face turn alliance with Undertaker, only to turn heel at Royal Rumble 1998. Feuded with Austin. Partnered with Undertaker in Fall of '98 as Brothers of Destruction. Late 1998 - Turned tweener after Paul Bearer doublecrossed him. Jan. 1999 - Joined The Corporation. Heel/Tweener Post-WMXV - Kicked out of the corporation. Turned Face. Remained face with X-Pac and DX through 1999-Early 2000. Summer of 2000 - Turned heel on the Undertaker leading to SummerSlam. Feuded with The Rock and Chris Jericho through fall of 2000, over coffee. Jan 2001 - Turned face after joining Undertaker in Brothers of Destruction. Remained a face through 2001, 2002 and into 2003. June 2003 - Turned heel on Rob Van Dam + Unmasking August 2004 - Turned face via Gene Snitsky (It wasn't his fault.) Mid-April 2006 - Turned heel in light of S-Chrome's birthday... and that See No Evil flick. Post May 19th, 2006 - Became tweener. Then face in Kane vs. Kane storyline. Followed by Brothers of Destruction III. July 2008 - Turned heel via attacking Michael Cole & Tazz (Wouldn't that constitute as a face turn for smarks?) November 2009 - Turned face after coming to Undertaker's aid vs. Chris Jericho & Big Show. Brothers of Destruction IV. August of 2010 - Turned heel after he admitted that he left Undertaker in a vegetative state earlier in the Spring. March 2011 - Turned face after helping Big Show vs. The Corre July of 2011 - Turned tweener with mini-feud vs. Randy Orton January 2012 - Returned via chokslamming John Cena. Heel. I count 17 turns in 15 years. Not bad.

Two weeks. He returned on Raw the night after Fully Loaded 2000, then was taken off TV two Raws later when Undertaker tossed him off the stage.
