If you live in the Twin Cities, all Metro Transit buses are free from 6pm to the last bus of the night.

problem if you live in a small hick town that sets up road blocks everywhere...makes it a drunken strategy to scientifically avoid the cops without spilling your beer

Awesome idea. I just hope that people take advantage of it and use it if they need it. Being drunk is okay, but drunk driving endangers other people's lives, not just your own. Don't do it!
I'm not entirely sure why anyone who can afford it isn't involved with AAA. Their card might cost a little bit, but even if you need a towing at least once per year, it more than pays for itself, and they have trucks set up everywhere.

Bumping this up as a reminder. Be safe tonight y'all For real! There better not be a "I got a D.U.I./D.W.I." thread tomorrow. Make sure you all get yourself either a D.D., or someone who can it least be sober enough to call a cab(or in this case, AAA). DUIs are expensive, and I'm completely ignoring the threat to public safety aspect of it when I say that, which is, obviously, the most important thing. |
