Which of the recent entries in their respective series do you prefer? D:

Skyrim has better gameplay, but New Vegas has better writing.

I never played New Vegas, but I played my cousin's copy of Skyrim and had fun, so that.

Skyrim has better gameplay, but New Vegas has better writing. My exact opinion. I also like Skyrim's setting more so it wins out. But damn, both are fine games.

Skyrim is much more refined. New Vegas is basically what Fallout 3 should have been.

Skyrim is actually playable, so it wins by default.
I got way too frustrated with New Vegas crapping out on me, including freezing as I'm ABOUT TO BEAT THE GAME.

Fallout 3 dwarfs both games as far as entertainment IMO. So if by any chance you havent played that start there.
Anyway, I had more fun with New Vegas than Skyrim.

Dragons aren't guns, though.

Seems like whenever I venture out into the world of Fallout I find a million things to do.
When I venture out in Skyrim seemingly whatever I do I wind up stuck on the side of a mountain

I generally hate fantasy stuff with dragons and things like that, so I'd pick New Vegas.

Dragons aren't guns, though. But you can take the dragon's soul to use its power. Fire/Ice Breath > Guns.

Skyrim. The setting appeals more to me. Over time, it felt like New Vegas just bored me. I haven't felt that way with Skyrim and it hasn't left my PS3 since I got it on release day.

I sorta like the Fallout world better (I've always like post apocalyptic settings, and the R rated humor), but Skyrim hands down is the much superior game. Skyrim may be the best RPG ever made.

I used to like Fallout, and then I took an arrow in the knee.
