I'll gladly take another week of Tebowmania if it means Big Ben, Ward, Harrison and co. get dumped out of the playoffs.
And lets look at this one a little more closely. Since Ben got hurt, the Steelers offense has taken a complete nosedive. They barely beat the Browns twice, who themselves have a terrible offense, and got whupped by San Fran, whose offense aint nothing to write home about neither. Add in that Mendenhall and Pouncey are both out, and well, a Broncos win isn't as impossible as it sounds.
Denver's defense, on their day (even without Dawkins) is a formidable force, especially at home. If they can keep Pittsburgh to a low score going into the fourth quarter, well, then anything is possible. Willis McGahee is back to full fitness (or so he claims) as well. If the Broncos can getb the running game established early while holding the Steelers to zero to measley points on the other side of the football, then they have a real chance.
Now that is a lot of ifs and maybes, but, any given sunday......

^Completely agree, injuries and being away from home and if it's say... 13-7 going in to the fourth quarter? A Denver win isn't out of the question.
Thankfully the media on English tv towards NFL is lacking, so I won't hear anything. But I do feel sorry for the fans of football if Denver does win, and I don't even think it is Denver's fault, just the media.

I don't think anybody's worshiping Tebow right now, he's getting criticized more than he ever has right now (especially by Bronco fans). Am I missing something or are you guys just talking in general?

For me the Tebow media love in peaked after the Broncos beat the Bears. (After Prater beat the Bears). The next sunday's ESPN countdown show had what felt like AT LEAST an hour and a half of its three hours devoted to Tim. Just Tim. Not the Broncos, not John Fox, not John Elway, TIM. The centrepiece of this was a 9 minute (NINE MINUTE!) sounds of the game segment where Tebow had been micced up for the Bears game. Boomer and the guys then proceeded to gush about the piece, calling it 'oscar worthy' and 'inspirational'.
That night, the Pats beat the tar out of the Broncos and the bandwagon has been lighter every passing week.

Am I missing something or are you guys just talking in general? Oh I completely agree. I mean winning a division is huge, ask Seattle last year, beating the Super Bowl champions. It's just the media, reports, fans who want to pick a fight, sports center. These people will focus on ONE thing. The play of your quarterback. I couldn't care less if he prays after a play, James Jones (the WR for the Packers) does that after a TD too. I hope that makes sense. I hope if Denver win (and I hope they do) that the media understand that it is a 53+ game. I don't hold it against a 53+ team of players and thousands of fans but you just know (as a fan) what it'll be like if Denver win right? It's not prejudice, at least not on my part, I just hope if Denver win, it's about the TEAM. But no one can control the media. It's like the ridiculous coverage of Clay and Rodge...because they make impact plays.

Citing sources familiar with Jeff Fisher's thinking, 101 ESPN St. Louis reports Fisher is "on the verge" of becoming the Rams' next head coach.

I think every Bronco fan knows that those wins were not just Tebow, but realistically speaking Tebow is a more ratings attractive name than Prater, so that's what gets the air time. Oh I absolutely know what it'll be like, but I'll take it! ;D I've been expecting the national media to say we have no chance, but it's down right depressing to see how many of our own fans have NO faith in us. I mean, I can understand it because of our losing streak, and I can understand thinking we may lose - but so many fans have it set in their minds that we are going to get blown out of the water. As selfish as it sounds I hope we win not to rub it in the face of the media, but to rub it in the face of our perfection-demanding fans that want everybody benched when things go wrong, but want statues erected when things go right.

^Well I made my honest picks and I think Denver will win, at least keep it close. No Pouncey, a lot of other injuries, Big Ben has been gimpy and he is playing away from home. Ask the Browns. The Steelers are not invincible and I would not be surprised if Denver win.

I hope so, I would pick them but I'm afraid to jinx them Well I'm rooting for the Bungels/Bengals (who ever turn up) to win for the F.A.N members who love them so I'll throw my hat in with Denver and I wouldn't be suprised if they win. Heck Green Bay were the six seed and won it ALL last year. Stranger things have happened.

I asked about the game of the year: What about drive of the year?
You have a lot to choose from: The Tebow Time stretch of late comebacks: Eli against the Patriots: Flacco against the Steelers: Stafford against the Raiders

I suppose it's not life and death because the Pack were already qualified but still, I think Flynn deserves some credit.

That made honorable mention because Detroit had everything to gain (winnable game at NYG), but not a finalist because both were locked into playoff spots)

Who I think will win: - Bengals - Saints - Falcons - Steelers Who I'll be rooting for: - Bengals - Saints - Giants - Broncos Wait, aren't you a Cowboys fan? I'm really surprised you'd be rooting for the Giants if you were. As far as Denver goes, I just am not much of a fan of teams who back into the playoffs. And after three weeks of absolutely putrid football, that's pretty much what the Broncos did. No one in that pathetic division could take care of business (at least the Seahawks won their place last year), so Denver gets in by sucking the least. It's magnified by ESPN and the media's hard on for Tim Tebow. It wouldn't be so bad if they could manage to beat the Bills and Chiefs, who they are capable of beating. And a 10-6 or 9-7 team would be respectable. But they only clinched by Oakland and their hilariously overpaid QB choking the big one. It really amazes me how mediocre that division was. The team playing the best football at the end of the season was San Diego and they couldn't make the playoffs because of how godawful they were the middle third of the season. Nothing will come as close to being outright terrible as the NFC West last year, but this year's AFC West was just so lackluster.

Broncos won't pull what Seattle did last year: sorry Denver fans, but Sports Authority Field is not the raucous "road teams beware" place that Seattle has, and McGahee is not Lynch.

BUT, would you be surprised if Denver win, cause I wouldn't be. Being a Packer Backer for all my life, I've seen some awful away performances during the playoffs... ...*sighs* Strange things can happen in the playoffs.

Nothing will come as close to being outright terrible as the NFC West last year, but this year's AFC West was just so lackluster. I am a Cowboys fan, however, I think the Giants making a run would honestly be the most entertaining thing to come out of the NFC. I mean look at it like this, we KNOW the Saints, Packers, and 49ers are good teams, and while the Falcons are good, they just aren't entertaining to me. The Lions have Stafford to Megatron on offense and their dirty players on defense, but that's about it. With the Giants, well, Momma used to say, the Giants are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get! ;D Yes, yes....I know, a Cowboys fan having to watch his team sit out on the playoffs taking a dig at the Giants, but it is true! We really DON'T know what we are going to get with the Giants. When my team(s) is(are) either knocked out of the playoffs or don't even go in the first place, I hope for either utter chaos(like the Seahawks beating the Saints last year) or as much entertainment as possible, the Giants are both the chaos option and entertainment option in the NFC, thus I want the Giants to win.

And Letterman is making NFL jokes tonight His Top Ten List was "Signs You're Already Having A Bad Year," and #1 was "You play for the New York Jets." As for my picks: BENGALS VS. TEXANS: EVER SO SLIGHTLY, I gotta go with Cincinatti. Boy, this will be close. STEELERS VS. BRONCOS: With all the injury issues on both teams, I just feel that the Steelers are in a better postition defense-wise than Denver is. Going with Pittsburgh. FALCONS VS. GIANTS: Going Giants, but it'll be difficult if they're unable to stop Michael "The Burner" Turner. LIONS VS. SAINTS: This is gonna be a shootout times 92. Unless the Lions defense is able to slow down the onslaught, Drew Brees et al. are going to punch themselves a ticket to San Francisco. I'm picking New Orleans.
