Well I got Thor, Easy Rider, Sucker Punch and Planet Earth Series which should keep me going for the moment.
Seven Samurai is being released by BFI on Blu-Ray this year for region B so can hold out for that.
Taxi Driver reviews seem to be astounding so may look into that next.

The Superman box set is weird. The four Reeve films have outstanding transfers....yet Superman Returns has the single worst blu-ray transfer I have ever seen.

Don't forget the Back to the Future box set. I'm going to have to second this, with emphasis. This transfer was a great example of a Blu-ray that makes you say, "wow, I didn't realize this movie could look this good."

Yeah, it's really perplexing, but I guess it hammers home the point that newer films don't necessarily look better than older ones on home video, since so much more than just the print quality goes into making a BD.

Here's the deal: A LOT of Warner BD's (like Superman Returns and Batman Begins) have transfers from the old HD-DVD format, which Warner was exclusive to for awhile. Therefore, they are encoded at lesser bitrates and look weaker than a regular BD transfer.

It's just more perplexing in that they haven't gone back and fixed it, despite reissuing it multiple times.

When I worked at a video store I took home Terminator 2 on BR once. I never thought it would look anywhere near as good as it did. Great movie, but that goes without saying.
My suggestion though is TRON LEGACY. Why? Because it's visually so unbelievably cool looking. And the music is top of the line - you'll notice why BR is also so beneficial to audio with this movie.

Recently got the original Star Wars trilogy on for Christmas and I have to say it looks incredible. Seconded, though it still suffers from the very odd colour mix done to the Special Editions. Not as bad as the DVDs, but the Revisited fanedits show just how much it was messed with.

The Dark Knight and Inception both look amazing on Blu-Ray. Keeping the IMAX aspect ratio in the action scenes makes a world of difference. It actually kind of bugs me to watch Dark Knight because the aspect ratio keeps changing. They should have just done the whole movie in IMAX ratio for blu ray.
