Not sorry to see him go. I liked his initial appearance, but there seems to be a lot of diminishing returns on how entertaining I find the character.

This is out of nowhere and then it's not. I like James Spader but I'm not sure I like Robert California. I don't think they ever got a handle to use either one on the show.

It's not his fault that 'The Office' has been as deplorable as it has recently. He's merely just a passenger walking away from a car crash.

Keep in mind he's just leaving after this season, not just up and done.
Truth be told the character probably fits better as a one season character anyway.

Ah, the infamous "one-season arc"...just like Michelle Rodriguez on Lost.

THANK GOD.
He was the biggest reason I stopped watching. If the show gets renewed I'll pick it back up after he's gone. What an awful, awful character and idea.
They should pretend the whole thing was a dream.

I only watched the first 3 or 4 episodes from this season before I had to tap out. I just wasn't enjoying it too much and that character definitely was a factor.

The beginning of the season was pretty much all about Andy being insecure about being the new boss, doing something outrageous to try and earn respect, only for someone to pat him on the back and say "It's okay Andy, we all like you!" I definitely recommend checking out some of the more recent episodes as they're a step up.

I love The Office and while I like some of the newer episodes I have to admit it has gone from a must see show every week for me to If I miss it then I could care less.

That's Catherine Tate, a British 'comedienne' (and I use that term very loosely) and I would say she's ruined the show but I think its already ruined.
I don't care about Andy and Erin, the latter they've made dumber than Kevin. Its a horrible rehash of Jim and Pam without the charm, humour, and authnenticity. I couldn't give two s***s about Darryl and that female warehouse worker. Seriously, at least five minutes a week is wasted on this storyline. Jim and Pam have just become horrible, highly unlikeable characters. We get it, Gabe is a loser. We get it, Oscar is gay. WE GET IT, KEVIN IS RETARDED.
The only enjoyment I've gotten out of this season is Dwight now and again, and to an extent his subplot with Andrea. Robert California neither added nor took away from what the show is now to be honest.
