I mean, is there something that I'm missing? What is the appeal of this match? What is even the appeal of them in any match?
I couldn't have cared less about these guys in their prime let alone now that they're slower than molasses.....sad to say it, but I'd rather see Michael Cole wrestling instead of these two.

It's a good old fashioned monster battle.

It's a good old fashioned monster battle. They just don't seem like legitimate monsters to me anymore-- just dead weight. Same with Kahli. Mark still has some move in him, but Big Show and Kahli, due to their size, just limp around the ring and hit a choke hold or two. WWE either needs some new monsters or needs to give up the plot.

Obvious Troll is Obvious?
It's a great battle between two monsters. Forgetting for a second that wrestling isn't real, who would you want to see fight MORE than the two biggest strongest guys around

I just don't get the appeal of these guys. A monster battle isn't a horrible idea as long as the monsters actually seem like threats.... These two guys just bore the crap out of me. Not to mention that it has put Big Show right back in the WHC running instantly after returning from his injury. I get there are politics in all of it and crap, but putting the title on Big Show again just makes me lose any interest of it. I don't mind Mark Henry's reign, assuming it is probably a fare-well run of sorts, but I'd like to see other guys (and not Orton either)....Christian could have another run, Sheamus, even moving up Dolph Ziggler to that scene would be awesome, or putting it back on Orton to have Cody Rhodes take it from him....instead of letting Henry and Show have a boring match.

It's more the story of the match rather then the match itself.
Big Show got put out by Mark Henry and now wants revenge; you pay to see him get it and win the belt back from Mark Henry.
We also haven't been subjected again and again to this match like we have Orton/Henry as of late. Don't worry, once they start burning through this feud too with rematch after rematch then you're bound to get plenty of complaints.

You're missing the fan mindset that enjoys seeing the unstoppable force vs the immovable object. That likes to see a demolition derby. It's not common on the internet. I don't know if the people that like it just hang out in different places or somehow they're not net savvy.

I think it's just the story that, for the last three months, Henry has been "That Monster" that dominates and overpowers everyone and now a man of equal, or perhaps greater, strength is going against him. But, beyond that, there is the fact that Show was injured by Henry who beat the man once...but Show was hurt from the whole "hit by Del Rio's car" thing which was quite the disadvantage.

The appeal is two big guys who don't like each other beating the crap out of each other. It's about as basic as pro wrestling gets, really.

I think they've given enough build for it to be entertaining exactly once. If they're rematching forget it.

Technically this is the rematch. Henry Pillmanized Show at MITB after a surprisingly entertaining match.

Hopefully, assuming my prediction comes true, this will make Sheamus look awesome when he beats Mark Henry for the belt. Doing it after Big Show (and maybe Kane) fail to do so will make him look awesome.
Of course that's the optimist in me speaking.

I'll be surprised if it isn't Orton who is the one to take the belt from Mark Henry. Randy lost twice to him clean as a sheet. Precedent would indicate he's going to get those victories back.

Yea the match is going to be boring, but the build has been great. I can deal with Mark Henry having one boring match against Big Show since he's been pretty damn good against everybody else lately. And who knows, maybe they'll surprise us and put on the best big man match in the history of wrestling.
