Yeah, I thought this season was awesome.
We had the AJ vs. Naomi match, Aksana butchering the English language, CM Punk's commentary and a vintage wrestling wedding.

I will always appreciate NXT3 for bestowing Kaitlyn upon my eyes.
She makes the rain fall. 'Cause she's so beautiful that it's painful. ;D

Personally, I loved the show for its trainwreckiness, and see what new ridiculous challenges they could come up with. I fell off watching the show when it went online though.

It was the perfect definition of train-wreck TV. Every week it kept spiraling down in some facets which made it enjoyable. Plus it was the beginning of super heel Cole and was enjoyable back then.

Wrestling wise it was pretty terrible but it was great entertainment.
NXT Seasons 1 & 3 are the best, 2 & 4 had some decent moments and Season 5....will never end.

AJ lost. To hell with NXT Season 3. Things would be so much different if she won.

This was Michael Cole at his best. He was in rare form on NXT Season 3. Shame he wasn't able to capture the same magic on other shows. He had to scream "THE OCTOPUS" about 25 times in a row during the AJ/Naomi match. That was just amazing.
BTW, anybody know the date of that match? I'd love to look that episode up on YouTube.

I've said this many times on here, but I honestly thought it was the best comedy show on TV when it was on. It really was the closest the WWE will ever get to being MST3K.
The hardest I've ever laughed watching wrestling was when Cole started banging the gong.

I still give the little boy robot an F. One of the best lines in the history of television. So off the wall, but incredibly accurate.

It's on WWE Fan Nation so it's ok. This was the best episode of the season, the Goldust/Aksana wedding. So many great lines.

That was a good one, but that CM Punk episode might have it beat.

The Limbo Contest has to be the best segment. Cole was ON during the entire segment.

I loved the dance competition. Cole's outfit was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Kaitlyn vs. Maxine was the absolute shits, but Cole & Josh were KILLING it on commentary.

And we can't forget that "Heel Bellas" was actually born on NXT. At least, one was heel and the other was face. I think it was Nikki, who acted like the female Bob Holly who hated rookies.
Also, the Kaitlyn/Vickie match is underrated. They actually had a video package for it, and Vickie's stalling was legendary, as well as her Steve Austin trash talking. It actually had more heat than 99% of diva matches. That, and Cole and Josh were talking about it like it was year long feud culminating at Wrestlemania.
