I feel bad for Chavo, though I think his anger is a bit misguided. Chavo has spent his entire life in the business, as has his entire family. Thus, to him it's obvioulsy far more than a job, it's life. I get it, and I respect it. However, Chavo is also the unluckiest guy in years. He's damn solid in the ring, and decent enough with a mic when he's given a chance, but he's not as charasmatic as his unle was, or his grandfather was, and his aunt is an instant heat magnet. Sorry, but that's the one thing missing. Now, does that mean he doesn't belong in the industry? Hell no it doesn't, but he doesn't have that little something extra that makes him a main eventer. No shame in it, as his other uncles had long careers, survived bad gimmicks (Hector in particular), but ultimately were respected as being good hands and professionals. There is zero shame in that, because those are the guys that get consistant paychecks, they will always be needed. Why is Chavo going at Cena? Simple, because I think Chavo hates the fact that it was so easy for Cena. Two, maybe three years from training to being on RAW, then two years later he's the top guy. Meanwhile Chavo spends his entire life in the business and sees everyone he came up with getting their chance, yet he got Kerwin White, wrestling with Horny, and even after Eddie's death, he was third banana behind Rey and Vickie. So it's a mix of things, I think. Resentment of being passed over time and time again, and then seeing people get rocketed to the top who didn't "pay the dues" like he had to. It's not just Cena that he wants to take shots at, I'm guessing, but Cena is available and a visible target. I would say, though, that every time someone comes out of developmental that might have a year in the business, but who immediately gets launched to a higher platform than Chavo was at, the resentment would only grow. Now, am I justifying Chavo's act? No, I'm not, but taken into perspective, I see the frustration as something that built for years. The Hornswoggle bit that he defended while he was with the company I guarantee ate at him. But, he toed the company line and didn't complain publicly. Thus, I'd say what we're seeing now is him finding a focus (albeit a misguided one) for the years of stupid gimmicks and never getting the chance that he felt he had earned. Agreed completely. To touch upon what you said about him just missing 'something', I always found him to be a very solid worker, but he almost never made me care about him in the ring. I *wanted* to, but outside the mini angle where he damn near won the US title and "retired", I just never quite got there with him There was only one angle with him in WWE where I cared about HIM. When Eddie had died on he turned on Rey at GAB to cost him the title. The way the story had progressed before Booker got involved, it looked like Chavo was going to turn and he would face Rey for the WHC on that PPV. I really wanted that to happen because it would have been pretty cool to see those two fighting for a world title on PPV, plus I was totally on Chavo's side in that disaster of a storyline. Shame it never happened. Instead the feud they did have was really awkward.

Can anyone honestly name a great Chavo Guerrero match?
He seems to think he’s on the same legendary level as his uncle. Eddie was a great wrestler and a top star in WWE. Chavo is a career mid-carder who has very few, if any, memorable moments that fans will remember.
I lost all respect for Chavo when he did that interview right after he left WWE where he basically said that he was disappointed that they didn’t use Eddie’s death as an excuse to catapult him into the main event.

Why does it matter who is the best legitimate athlete? Wrestling isn't a competitive sport. It doesn't matter who is more likely to win 'a race', I would have thought Chavo would understand that. Wait, so you're saying I shouldn't care whether Chavo can beat Cena at horseshoes?

Can anyone honestly name a great Chavo Guerrero match? I loved his first I Quit match with Rey, and he had a pretty solid series with Punk in early 2008. That doesn't make his Cena rants any less laughable, though.

Looks like Chavo needs an attitude adjustment. Oh, and an Attitude Adjustment for good measure. an STFU might help too

Cena's better in the ring than he's given credit for, and I can't really say I've ever been impressed by Chavo's work. At least not when he was by himself. He was good with Eddie though.
Breaks, not brakes. I'm really getting annoyed at how many wrestlers are mixing those words up. Not too long ago I read where Angle was talking about driving and he said "I hit the breaks". Ugh.
Obvious trolling at this point.
Wait, in what world are Hogan and Ultimate Warrior better athletes than Cena? Even in their heyday they were both known for being immobile and Cena is clearly the better wrestler.
Ugh Chavo...just let it go. You're rapidly losing any respect that anybody had for you when you were released.

Eyes closed and one hand tied behind your back? You tried that once with Hornswoggle and got out-wrestled and looked like a total fool while doing so. Fantastic

I liked Chavo and all but what exactly is his problem?
Is it that his Uncle had more charisma than Chavo could ever dream of having? Or because his Uncle's widow got more heat by saying two words than Chavo ever got in his career?

"can anyone honestly name a great Chavo Guerrero match?" I think you're missing the point. I think if he felt he had the opportunity (short of what has been pointed out, Los Guerreros and the Rey feud and maybe a thing or two on ECW), he wouldn't be going out there on twitter in full-on Kurt Angle mode. Honestly, that he hasn't killed anyone yet for Kerwin White and the Hornswoggle feud, that's a credit to him.

He sounds like Alan Partridge when he listed the things he can beat Cena at.

Actually, Chavo was involved in one of the most unique matches I've ever seen. It was the Chavo/Unle Eddie feud in WCW where Eddie was just tormenting Chavo relentlessly and Chavo did a great crazy gimmick. Sure, Pepe the horse was beyond awesome, but the fact that when he finally "lost it" it was great. Hair vs. Hair match with Eddie was the blowoff, but he had to go through Steive Ray in an I Quit match for some reason. So he looks at Stevie Ray, and goes for a handshake. Stevie Shakes and Chavo taps to a handshake. Then he shaved his own head before the hair vs. hair match, all with an incredible bats*** insane look on his face.
