*Natalya vs Gail Kim is happening in the ring.* Jerry Lawler: This Diva reminds me of my last girlfriend, she was a red head too, no hair, just a red head. Me: Well then, that's uh...disturbing. Lawler: This Diva reminds me of my last girlfriend, she was a red head too, no hair, just a red head. Me: You said that. Lawler: This Diva reminds me of my last girlfriend, she was a red head too, no hair, just a red head. Not to mention the fact that neither even have red hair. *Pink is close to Red, but the blondeness of Natty overtakes that*

lol thank god Robin is better than that these days No word of a lie, I'm in this. I've had a season ticket at Bolton Wanderers for 12 years, and whilst at the Reebok I've had the seat two to the right of the steps on the left hand side. So yeah, that's me. Great re-introduction to WC! One of the reasons I re joined was because I wanted to but a very lazy misconception about the WWE games correct. I wish they'd get rid of Road to Wrestlemania and brought back the normal seasons. Guess it would be too much work to write a full year of storyline, instead of 3 months " " People assume that THQ are just lazy and don't want to put the effort into doing a season mode. Fact is, if it was up to them, then they would still be doing that. However, I was talking to Dave Lagana (ex WWE creative) a few months back, about a role he was given for a while, which was working with THQ, being a consultant for the WWE. He suggested Road to Wrestlemania because he got a lot of feedback from the WWE talent that they hated the stories they were coming up with, and the last straw as Edge's 'Magic Wand' storyline. So RTWM was the best way to appease the talent, and now THQ work with the talent and creative to come up with storylines that they are happy with. Another thing that he mentioned was that the Undertaker hated reading lines. Hence the lack of Undertaker in RTWM. You'll notice in the vs Undertaker RTWM from last year, he didn't have any lines in it.

How come no one's worried about the no strong/weak grapples? Won't that mean grapples will no be limited, like running strikes were last year?
Unless I hear amazing things about the gameplay I think I might skip it this year.

Unless I hear amazing things about the gameplay I think I might skip it this year. Apparently it's taking on a sort of Fire Pro-style strong/weak/etc grapple system, from what I remember reading. You can do more, better, as you go along and wear your opponent down. I dunno if you just can't do certain moves at first, or if they're just harder to pull off earlier in the match. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone.

Basically you only have one type of grapple move using the grapple system....
Like always you grab them and combo it with a direction (like, A plus left). Then you have four moves you can do from that grab, like No Mercy/HCTP.
Then each wrestler has four "heavy" moves that are done when the opponent is dazed. They are done automatically when you execute the command, without having to lock up first. These are described as wrestlers' trademark moves that don't count as signatures or finishers. Hopefully that made sense.

Sounds like the same crappy grapple system as 2011.

Let's be honest though, some things out of THQ are straight lazy and seemingly done out of spite...such as why last year are we suddenly unable to stand on the announce table and do moves through it, something that happens in WWE ALL THE TIME, and we have to wait for WWE 13 for them to MAYBE fix that?
Why has Goldust never had a wig or a robe?
Don't get me wrong, the series has MASSIVELY improved....I remember days where you couldn't even climb the ropes or leave the ring in a submission match. Last year's d-throws and object interactivity were amazing. 4 attires per CAW is great.
I cant wait to buy this game, but THQ still makes some baffling calls, and Cory is forever a buttgoblin.

Pictures for the Wii version: wii.ign.com/articles/118/1188169p1.html?RSSwhen2011-08-16_110600&RSSid=1188169And, so you know... no online, no DLC, and no customizable features for DLC, meaning that you're stuck with pre-set music and logos if you want to spiffy up a characters. As a Wii-only owner, I would buy this game because it does feature the "Predator" system and the ability to use announcer tables to your advantage. But I'm still not sold after... well, you know.

"I HATE YOU HEATH SLATER! I HATE YOU!" Also, have we had confirmation on transparency levels returning? It looks like Heath's tattoo looks like it was done in something other than Sharpie.

Thats bulls***. Im a 360 user, so it doesnt effect me, but Wii players are getting screwed. Um, how is it bullshit? I own a Wii, in addition to my 360 and PS3, and I thought the general understanding was that if you us a Wii as your main console, you're going to miss quite a bit because it lacks the power and strong online support of the other two.

Yeah, pretty much....I don't mean this as an insult at all, but if you're a 'serious gamer', a Wii shouldn't be your only console. Unless you're only interested in Nintendo franchises...multiplatform games are always worse on Wii, it's pretty much the way it is.

Yeah, I'm familiar with constantly getting the short end of the stick with Wii versions. No online support and a lack of features. Unfortunately, because I don't own a 360 or PS3, I myself am usually screwed.

Huh what? I don't think I played the game that had this storyline, what happens? I think it was in SvR '07, where your CAW feuds with Edge and Candice Michelle (who at the time carried a wand in her entrance). Somehow it ends up with the wand being magic, your CAW becoming a woman and Edge becoming The Boogeyman with Khosrow Daivari's voice.

The SVR storylines were often total crap. The RTWMs have been good though. Edge in 2010, Shawn in 2010, Christian in 2011, all great storylines.

The RTWM stories bug people, but I don't personally mind them, 'cause most of the time, they're far better than current storylines on TV.
