"If it don't make dollars, it don't make sense." It's not gonna happen. Cena sells too much merchandise and is a HUGE cash cow for the WWE. It'b be pretty cool if it happened though. I have yet to understand this "Cena sells so much merch, he'll never turn heel" argument. Like heels can't sell merchandise. Didn't Nexus shirts become the top selling merch shortly after they debuted? And aren't some people putting a little too much importance into merchandise sales? I know they matter, but are they really more important than selling out shows or PPV buyrates?

I wouldn't mind a Cena heel turn.
You could even work his new shirt into the heel turn.
He's rising above the hate of the audience, because he's better than them.

I am of the mindset that Cena will turn one day, but it wont be whilst he's currently sporting a huge anti-bullying campaign shirt. WWE aren't stupid enough to make themselves look that bad.

I actually see plenty of adults wearing Cena shirts, as well as a few kids in Nexus and Miz gear. And if Cena were to ever turn heel, he'd likely get even more adults to wear his gear, so I doubt his sales would drop much if at all. And a marginal profit drop in merchandise sales seems like a weak argument against a heel turn.

Ive been saying for a while. Cena to me as a smug dickhead corporate heel is money. He can easiy be the next Hollywood Hogan. Mugging to the camera with a huge shit eating grin, stood next to a bunch of kids booing him, while pointing to his "RISE ABOVE HATE" shirt.

A wrestler wearing an anti-bullying shirt looks goofy in the first place. I mean, do they sit there and reasonably talk out their problems in the middle of a ring?

Cena's going to get a giant sheet of paper and throw it onto Dwayne.

I honestly believe Cena's heel turn is going to happen when we least expect it. When Hogan turned heel it was a huge shock because no one saw it coming. Cena will turn heel at some point obviously. Will it be at Survivor Series? Doubtful. In any event when it happens, it'll definitely be a major change for the WWE.

The match is set-up. There's really not much more build needed since it's the face of the company vs one of the all-time greats.
There's no need for Cena to turn here; as he's gonna get booed outta the building no matter what anyway.

I think Cena playing the heel in face/face feuds...or even playing the heel against other heels in the right locations...
is more entertaining than any true heel turn would be.

Too bad the WWE wouldn't know that anymore if it swam up and bit them in the ass.

But again, why not go ahead, turn into that skid, make Cena a true heel, and make an even BIGGER assload of cash than they're already gonna?

Why can't they just do what they did with HBK Vs Hogan and make him temporary heel but an east transition back to face?

I wonder if they could pull of a "Face to kids Heel to adults" Cena. Like beating the crap out of everyone, cheating, stealing, saying he hates all fans...
"Except the great kids who will buy my merchandise because buying my merch makes you cool!" *wink*
He would be a massive corporate sellout to the point where he would act nice outside but in a superfake manner.
...It wouldn't be too different than he is now would it? Kidding. I actually like Cena.

My God people, will you please stop pretending that Cena will just suddenly stop selling merchandise if he turns heel?

Rock is the heel in all this, anyway.
"I will never EVER leave this company again!" *Disappears for months* "I'm here for you people, not for me!" *Has a whole episode of raw dedicated to his birthday* "I want to make things interesting!" *Talks for 20 minutes at Wrestlemania, ends up booting the US Title match because of it*
Cena's the face; Rock hates him for no legitimate reason and constantly berates him. Cena comes out, works his butt off every week, and gets taunted.
The Rock costs Cena a Wrestlemania match so that the Miz (arguably one of the worst world champs in history) can retain the belt and further besmirch its legacy.
My greatest hope is that Survivor Series ends with Cena putting Rock in a box marked "SHIP TO: HOLLYWOOD CA" while the entire crowd cheers.

I don't know if turning on the Rock turns Cena heel. To many in Cena's fan base The Rock is "The guy from the tooth fairy who thinks he has a shot against John Cena"
