Or maybe some of us like the Green Goblin more. Then this is flawed thinking. This type of voting happens in every tourney. Don't even say this is isolated thinking. Am I trying to defend it? No. There's always going to be an element of groupthink when it comes to more recognizable entries in any tournament like this, and it really does no good to complain about it since it won't go away. I like the Green Goblin more than the Scorpion. I like Ultimate Green Goblin, poorly handled as he is, more than the Scorpion, because I've personally never been able to buy into Mac Gargan as a character. He's just never done it for me. That's my opinion, and I don't give two squirts of creamy s*** if it's "flawed." I'm sure there are others that share that opinion, and I'm not going to try to speak for them. And don't even try to put words in my mouth about my last post's phrasing because I was being sarcastic. Hell, you could be accused of the very same "flawed thinking" by voting for Juggernaut over Radioactive Man and Loki over the Super-Skrull earlier. Whatever. Voting Sandman here. And no, I don't have to or need to explain why. |

I put my vote towards Sandman, giving him the win 5-1! I understand the heat over voting. Popular villains are popular for a reason. They have taken part in story lines and have made an influence on a vast majority of people. People can connect with them. Now I am not saying underdog villains suck. I am just saying that a vote for a popular villains has as much weight as an underdog villain. Now for the next round....the Octo-Finals! I will show the first seedings of seeds 17 through 32 soon. Seedings is based on these factors, in order. 1. Votes For 2. Votes Against 3. If both heroes are tied in VF and VA, a coin flip is used. Galactus. I don't even know who Nitro is. He started the Civil War events by blowing up 600 people and, like the cover above states, gave Mar-Vell the cancer that later killed him. He's also had tussles with Iron Man and Daredevil. That's really it, as far as I know. I vote Galactus. |
