GOD, I marked for Skylar going off on Marie. Marie is such an obnoxious bitch. Not since Season 1 have I went "Yeah!" over something Skylar did or said. That was like every viewers pent-up frustration over Marie's obnoxious and talky behavior. I seriously did not want Skylar to stop telling her to shut up.

Walt watching the end of Scarface has got to be foreshadowing.

Walt watching the end of Scarface has got to be foreshadowing. "Everybody dies in this movie, don't they?"

Take the money and run, Jesse. Walt doesn't just have cancer. He is a cancer.

If Walt was making a veiled threat about Mike at the end there, he's an idiot. It's been proven several times him and Jesse are incapable of handling the business aspect themselves. Besides, if Mike even THINKS Walt is going to try to kill him Walt would be dead before he even had a full thought planned out.

Take the money and run, Jesse. Walt doesn't just have cancer. He is a cancer. I assume that's what the gazed expression at the end meant. Jesse is realizing how far Walt is gone and how he might need to distance himself from Walt or even kill him. And that's before he learns what Walt did to Brock (I assume he will at some point, or Saul will just tell him). As an aside, I really love how well played Skyler's character is so far this season as well, Anna Gunn is doing a great job at portraying how tortured she is and how much she fears Walt.

Excellent episode.
My analysis is in the link in the sig. Plenty of jumping-off points for discussion, if you're in that sort of mood.
But to put it briefly, I loved how Walt led with his ring finger when face-palming, as if to assist Marie in piecing together his implication that Skylar was having an affair. Such subtle work. Also notice how Jesse and Walt were watching The Three Stooges in that house after the cook. Three Stooges = Walt's three-man operation before Mike agreed to join (himself, Jesse and Saul)? Or is the implication that Walt sees Jesse, Mike, and Saul as HIS stooges?
Either way, I'm sure Walt will turn out to be a stooge himself, if for no other reason than for how his hubris will make a fool of him and blind him to reason.

Walt is acting dumb. I hate it when smart characters act dumb, especially over trivial things. They can act dumb when situations are dire, or chaotic, but complaining like a child about money at the end felt wrong to me.
and I like Marie. I hated her at first, like everyone else probably, but she's funny.

I hated her at first, like everyone else probably, but she's funny. He's not acting dumb per se, this is how he has been for a while. He's a power hungry asshole, and he's pissed that he isn't getting the lions share of the money for the stuff he's making. It's a power play sort of thing as I see it, and he still doesn't feel like he has total power.

I only see the series ending one of two ways.
Either Jesse is the last one standing, or Saul is.

To me, it's seems exactly like something Walt would do. Walt's smart, but he doesn't know the first thing about the business side of a drug empire.

To me, it's seems exactly like something Walt would do. Walt's smart, but he doesn't know the first thing about the business side of a drug empire. I agree, but it feels to me like most of the stupid things Walt has done have been because of exigent circumstances. There is none of that now, not really. He's in control, he isn't under any kind of threat, at least not that he's aware of, and he pretty much has everyone where he wants them. So why be such an asshole? Its a couple hundred grand or whatever, something he can make back with a few hours of cooking. It just felt kind of blunt to me. And you're right, the point is that Walt is a brilliant guy that just doesn't know how this stuff works. That's the point, I guess. I just don't know why everyone else (even Jesse!) can see it, but he can't. side note: Skinny Pete is an amazing pianist additional side note: Huell can sleep standing up, which is the greatest thing ever
