Antonio Cesaro vs. Alex Riley - I liked it because they managed to showcase Cesaro's intensity without being a total squash, in spite of how short it was (A-Ry should've gotten an entrance however). Cesaro ate Riley's "moves of doom" and used a questionable (but apparently not illegal) tactic in grabbing his ear to regain the advantage.
Ezekiel Jackson vs. Mark Henry - As short as it was, they did their best to make Zeke look like Henry's equal. The only reason you knew Henry was winning was simply due to placement on the card rather than Zeke being "weaker".
I don't like squash matches, but I do like short matches where the heel appears to be outmatched or equalled to the point where they go "Screw this, I'm hitting my finisher already".

We've had great matches on PPV this year, though No Way Out ended a streak of really great matches on PPV. Undertaker v. Triple H Daniel Bryan v. Sheamus (Extreme Rules) CM Punk v. Jericho (Extreme Rules) Brock v. Cena Daniel Bryan v. CM Punk (Over the Limit) The triple threat match at No Way Out was great.

Punk and Bryan are always top notch but Kane REALLY stepped up to the plate in a big way. All three were fantastic.

I wasn't trying to slight it by leaving it out. I thought it was easily the best match on No Way Out. Dolph/Sheamus was going great, but there were two big blown spots that took me out of the match. Anyway, I hated how Daniel Bryan COMPLETELY disappeared during the match and after it.

I remember Ted Dibiase and Batista having a very good match on Smackdown back in '09. Especially considering I expected it to be crap

Taker/Festus was a pretty solid match that did a great job of making Festus look tough

Mysterio vs. Morrison on Smackdown in mid-'09, for the IC title.
I'd seriously call it the best non-HBK match I've seen since I got back into watching wrestling around '08.

Speaking of John Morrison, we'd be remiss to not mention John Morrison vs. Evan Bourne on ECW.
Hell, JoMo's 2010 DVD was full of forgotten free-TV gems.

Hunico/Gabriel on Superstars a few months back. Definitely a fan of those two after seeing that.

Oh yes, Daniel Bryan vs Batista from RAW in the run-up to WM26. Batista gave him so much.
