I wonder how much of what they wear at shows travels with them vs. traveling with the production stuff.
For example, I can't imagine things like Edge's long coats and Regal's robes NOT taking up an obscene amount of luggage space, unless you'd have had like Edge checking his luggage with half of the checked bag being his long coat.
However, if they DID have to travel with them, that could explain the lack of entrance attire and preference for t-shirts in entrances lately, as sort of a pragmatic reason, to be less of a burden in packing.
That being said I'd think that the bigger entrancewear would travel with the production, but obviously things like tights and trunks would be with the guys. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to have stories like the Undertaker wrestling in the Godfather's pants, for one, and it'd be kind of weird to keep their gear in a wardrobe truck anyway.
This is when it'd be really handy to have like an ex-superstar or something on this board.

You know I don't think this has ever been brought up in any wrestlers autobiography. Lets tweet CM Punk and see what he has to say.. Or Lance Storm..
I always find it funny when the wrestler hands his accessories to the ref and the ref hands them off to some random guy. I always pictured the wrestler getting back to the gorilla position and being like "wheres my stuff"

I do know that Jericho complained in his second book about being the Undisputed champion and having to carry both belts through airport security. I imagine that some entrance attire might be the same way.

I always figured they had 1 suitcase for their outside clothes and bathroom supplies, another for their gear.
A lot of wrestlers I see leave the arena only have a small piece of luggage, so maybe it's not such a huge hassle after all.

If it's true about having to carry their own ring gear, I wonder how guys like Savage and Flair got away with it.

Heenan mentions in his first autobio about always travelling with his gear to make sure it made the shows.

Speaking along the lines of gear being handed to a ringside attendant, one thing I liked from back in the days of Scott Hall's Razor Ramon run is, even as a face, when he would hand his gold chains to the attendant personally, then say something along the lines of "if something bad happens to them, something bad will happen to you" and flick his toothpick at the guy.
Wonder if he would have done that if the Federettes were still around. ...look up WrestleMania III videos if you don't know who the Federettes were.

I might be able to find out the answer to this question. It might take me some time but I can definitely get it answered.
